While Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard were strutting their stuff on the red carpet in London for the premiere for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ yesterday evening, Nerea Garmendia was doing the same in Madrid, Spain.
The brunette actress opted for a casual look wearing a Burberry Prorsum owl-motif tee from the Fall 2012 collection, with a Frankie Morello Fall 2012 mini skirt.
I find this look a tad confusing.
The cutesy tee and the edgy studded skirt don’t work together for me. A simple black tee would’ve worked so better. I also think the skirt is sitting too high on the waist.
I’m shocked to say that this is the first time I haven’t liked a pair of shoes worn by a Spanish actress.
Even though she’s wearing a mini skirt, the Christian Louboutin ankle boots are making her legs look stumpy.
The pieces are great individually, but they don’t excite as they are presented here.

She was divine! I like the skirt with the tee, i found it very rock style and very fresh for a summery look, in Madrid yesterday the temperature was 42º. And about the shoes, they are black but they are interesting… not a simple pump, it’s a very edgy look.
For the first time I disagree with you FC, the only thing I don’t like is the pose. the crossed legs enoyed me.
Kisses
Estefania.
Not her best look, but it isn’t too bad either.
Why don’t you like it? it’s young and fresh, I LOVE IT! I really like this tee, it’s so funny!
I have explained in the post.
I think this is OK. I think a fancier top would have worked better.
I would’ve have loved the look if the top was simple. The skirt is stunning!
from the ankles up im loving it, but those shoes are so heavy looking.
I love this kind of pairing, just that the shoes could have been a lil more fun.
I don’t like the shoes at all. The rest is not bad, but too casual for a movie premiere, IMO.
None of it works for me either, confusing indeed.
Pretty dreadful. Looks like she just picked the tee up off the floor and put it on. I like the shoes and the skirt–but the tee doesn’t work.
