Princess Beatrice and Marisa Tomei wore this Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2012 dress just two days apart.
Their blush-tone ‘Izumi’ dress with a rounded neckline and long sleeves that lead into royal-blue frilled cuffs was a great look for both of them.
Princess Beatrice was the first to take the dress for a spin on the red carpet when she wore it to the ‘Britain Creates 2012′ Fashion & Art Gala in London.
The young royal’s sophisticated look was styled with Nicholas Kirkwood printed blue pumps and a gold Anya Hindmarch glitter clutch.
Marisa Tomei wore her dress during the Berluti private dinner during Paris Menswear Spring 2013 Fashion Week.
The brunette actress paired her look with a nude clutch bag and Aperlai colour-block heels in varying shades of blue.
I love the dress on both, so it comes down to the styling.
As you know, I thought Marisa’s shoes upstaged her dress somewhat, so Beatrice’s pitch-perfect styling of her dress makes her a winner in my eyes.

Marisa Tomei for me.
I like both looks but agree that Marisa’s shoes are a bit distracting.
I also think that blush shade, while looking nice on Marisa, is even more flattering to a redhead. I like the way Beatrice wore her hair down as I think it softens and complements the dress.
Beatrice for me! better a ponytail for the hair..
Princess Beatrice for me.
I voted for Princess Beatrice! I’m usually cynical about a monarchy and the royal members. I’m also a huge fan of Tomei. But I must be truthful. B’s styling was perfect and the fit of the dress was much better. I think she’s the one to watch. Kate’s great and deserves attention. But Pippa? So overrated! I’d like to see more of B and her shapely legs.
