Remember how we all loved Freida Pinto during Cannes Film Festival, but couldn’t take her footwear choices? Well it looks like the issue reappeared over the last two outings.
Yesterday evening the Indian actress attended another screening of ‘Trishna’, this time in New York City.
Freida looked lovely wearing a Rachel Roy Resort 2013 moon-stone crystallized scalloped dress, but her Brian Atwood ‘Zenith Lux’ black pumps don’t work at all.
What baffles the most is that her light-coloured dress with silver accents is styled with dark, heavy suede pumps with gold accents on the heels.
The dress and shoes couldn’t be more disconnected.
Simple styling, flawless makeup and Harry Winston jewels completed the look.

Is it just me or does the dress look a little too big on her? Also, really really hate the patch of white in the underarm part of the dress.
Agree on the shoe disconnect but she still looks lovely.
+1, the dress needed to be tailored to nip her in at the waist. She is already boxy and this doesnt help her one bit.

This is clearly not her best… dress is good but the fit is not good, shoes are heavy, i mean the look is very ordinary..nothing exciting or refreshing.

I simply don’t like it.
The dress is beautiful. You can see on the close up why she would have wanted to wear it. But the cut is absolutely awful on Freida. It looks about three sizes too big, even in the shoulder area. Clearly, the hugeness is not flattering. And while those are lovely if unexciting black pumps, why here? Agree, they make no sense at all. Very strange choice.
I don’t get it why Freida often wears clothes that make her look bigger! I guess she picks them last minute or else they’d be more fitted.

Oh gosh no! This is a real disappointment and there is definitely a disconnect. The dress isn’t flattering and the shoes don’t work at all.

i’m not one to mince words, so i’ll just say it; this dress makes her look short and fat.
just tremendously unflattering. and the shoes are a terrible pairing. but by the time i get to the shoes, it’s too late anyway. this isn’t a good look for her.
to be honest, i’m never really all that impressed with Frieda’s style. the girls is stunning and she has a fine enough body, she should look much much better than she often does.
