Avid tennis fan Anna Wintour attended the Wimbledon men’s singles final between Roger Federer and Andy Murray on a rainy Sunday afternoon in London.
My friend just asked me if Anna would’ve been torn between her friendship and admiration for Roger Federer and her support of fellow Brit Andy Murray.
Whilst I’m sure they both had her support, I think Roger would’ve had the edge considering Anna attends a lot of Roger’s matches; plus she’s even featured the tennis champ in American Vogue.
Before taking her seat in the Royal Box with the Beckhams, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Pippa Middleton, she was spotted heading to the match with her partner John Shelby Bryan wearing a Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 coat.
The summery orange printed trench coat, with modified sleeves, was styled with a Louis Vuitton bag and her favourite Manolo Blahnik kitten heels.
I’m sure Anna has more than one pair of these shoes.
Well, at least I hope she does.

It seriously baffles me that the editor in chief of THE fashion magazine does not take advantage of her position and dress with more variety. I can get wanting to have a signature style or whatever but boooooring.
You said it.
+1
FABULOUS! i love the bag.
I’m not a Wintour fan, but I must say I really like this coat on her. I much prefer her version to the runway one and I appreciate her use of a sunny color on a rainy day.
I agree.
I’m kind of glad it rained so we got to see this coat instead of the same old/ same old dress. I love the modifications in the coat (sleeves, collar and length). Different shoes and I might have suggested her for BDOTW.
oh my! it is very rare to see her carry a purse!
So she would wear a coat (gorgeous coat, btw) and get an umbrella, but she won’t put on something other than open-toe kitten heels when it is raining? Are they glued on or something?
At this point I am not even taking it seriously. Signature style is one thing, but wearing the same things all the time is not a style at all.
my feet get cold from seeing her
but yes, the coat is gorgeous
Yes I agree, save for the shoes, this is a great look – if only
She would switch it up!
This was meant to be a reply to Sharon’s comment
She looks gorgeous! The bag is from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2012 collection btw.
thanks Mario
she probably has 10 pair of those same shoes
Someone can ID the bag?. Beautiful coat BTW.
she is such a powerful person in fashion, but she always wears the same shoes. how much can anna wintour love a pair of shoes???
She has many pairs.
Manolo Blahnik said so in an interview.
Research, research…
Andy Murray also featured in American Vogue, but I agree, she probably was rooting that bit more for Roger. http://www.pagesdigital.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/andy-murray-vogue-september-2010.jpg
You know, at first I found it very endearing that the editor in chief of Vogue would be so hellbent on wearing the same pieces of clothing over and over again, I thought it was refreshing. But at this point, every time I see those freakin’ shoes I can’t help but get the stench of stinky sweaty feet and it ruins everything else for me. Even the color is dreadful! Man… at least wear them in a different shade or something!
