Nieves Alvarez took things up a notch for Sunday’s ‘Solo Moda’.
The host gave us three totally different looks for her second show.
She started off with a zesty Moschino Cheap & Chic Fall 2012 organza dress. I love the modification of this look. The all-over ruffles with the narrower silhouette take it from sweet to sassy.
The same Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Max’ spike-embellished metallic leather sandals we saw her wear on the red carpet last week and a selection of green Pandora bracelets accessorized this look.
I was going to say that her Nina Ricci Spring 2012 floral top and skirt was the most conservative of her looks so far until I got to her Emilio Pucci gold lace-up ankle boots. A much unexpected but interesting addition to this belted look.
Sunday’s final look was a sleek Lanvin Spring 2012 ensemble we’ve seen on Tilda Swinton. On this occasion I don’t like the bracelets with her nude long-sleeve top and forest-green skirt. Something that looked more expensive would’ve been preferred.
Her bow-front Christian Louboutin rose gold pumps however are perfect for this look.
Six looks, six different pairs of shoes. Hollywood, it can be done.

she’s amazing…
Looove all six looks we’ve seen from her!
We’re in for a treat!
Love the 3 looks, although the first one looks gorgeous! I’ve been a fan of Nieves’ style for a long time, and I can’t believe that I discover the existence of this show via your blog, considering I’m spanish and live in Spain
guess I’m not that much into tv shows, so thank you for covering her looks!
me too
jeje
i have to check out this show!
She looks great. it’s amazing how different she can look in differents styles and the shoe option is just amazing! i bet she does have a stylist because all this different brands and styles are such an interesting options and none easy to mix!
I love all three looks here. She looks amazing.
I love the three looks, but I must say that the Nina Ricci dress with the booties is simply perfect! Those shoes are to die for!
She’s gorgeous! One of the best dressed women in Spain for sure. I’ve always been a fan of her style.
Guapa!
Wow she looks stunning in all six looks. Totally rocked it! The Moschino Cheap & Chic and Lanvin are my favorites.
Is it me or she does look like Angelina Jolie?
Shoes goddess. I love the first and second looks.
I like all her looks especially the Nina Ricci. I love the shoes with that dress.
Oh my God I’m swooning, definitely going to make sure I watch this when I go to Spain in a few weeks. I love teh Moschino, but the Nina Rici, especialy with the shoes is my favourite by ar, I really hope she makes it into the BDOTW poll, because I think she really deserves it.
I also think It’s important to mention that the 6 different pairs of shoes are all beautiful, and neither nude nor black pumps.
Great style! The Nina Ricci is my favorite, but the Chip and Chic is fun and the Lanvin is edgy. Great shoes.
gorgeous!! i love these looks
Only her Moschino works 100% for me – do love how she took that sugary dress and made it work for her with the modifications and sexier edgier heels – very well done.
Do not like how she styled the other 2.
Wow, she managed to make these 3 outfits look better than all of the runway photos. Outstanding!
“Six looks, six different pairs of shoes. Hollywood, it can be done”
Hahaha! Oh FC you make me smile.
Great outfits, fun yet age appropriate, chic and the shoes worn with the dresses are unexpected yet work so well with each look.
Gonna keep an eye out for this lady.
Haha yup it can be done!! Oh how I love shoes!!
I really like her looks and I love the Nina Ricci dress
