Zooey Deschanel helped Fox celebrate the 200th episode of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ held at CBS Television City in California on Monday.
Dressed in a Lisa Ho plum cocktail mini dress with ruffled sleeves, the actress made sure she also wore her favourite accessory: black tights.
Due to the fall-like hue, the tights aren’t as frustrating as they have been on several occasion, but a summery look would’ve been preferred.
I also believe that Zooey should’ve worn her hair up as her retro wavy do is competing with those ruffles.
The only thing I love about this look is her nail art.

I watched SYTYCD on Wednesday and when I saw Zooey sitting at the judging table I was like, “I wonder if she’s wearing black tights under there?”
I really like the dress and think it is a good Zooey look,, but agree that the tights kill it and her hair definitely interferes with the main feature of the dress. Would have worked with a pony tail or bun. Her makeup is lovely.

I do really like this look and I love the dress but I do agree that the tights are unnecessary and she should have had her hair up. I very much love her nails!!
