Florence Welch joined Naomi Watts in Windsor, England, yesterday evening for the 14th Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball to Benefit Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The singer wore a Valentino full-length lace-embroidered dress with a rounded neckline and puffed long sleeves.
Florence added a selection of Chopard and Bulgari jewels to her look. I just love how she decorated her dress with a stunning statement necklace which is more like a body chain.
I’m not sure the dress would’ve been so beautiful without it.
A champagne satin Bulgari clutch with a serpent clasp, an updo with face-framing tendrils and a matte-pink lip colour completed her look.

No, the dress definitely would’ve been not so beautiful without the statement necklace.
Gorgeous.
My love for her only deepens. She’s absolutely stunning.
stunning. I love this look so much.
+1
that elaborate necklace makes all the difference
she is hands down the best dressed singer imo
She looks stunning, although I would’ve loved this look even more with a smaller, golden clutch.
This by far is my favorite look from her. I love that she added the necklace it brings so much like to the dress. She looks beautiful.
+1
The necklace makes the look. I thought it was built in until I read your post. I just wish she’d covered up the elastic waist with a simple belt or ribbon.
This is gorgeous. I just love how she always looks like someone who just came out of a fairy tales book.
I find this drab look completely unappealing. The only thing interesting I to me is her hair and even there she can use a trim of those bangs. Same old, same old.
Totally drab. How old is she again…in her 50s??? Oh, forgot she’s 25.
I can’t believe she made it to BDOTW poll.
+1. Looks like Nana’s attic to me.
Agree, the frock is so awful, no amount of beautiful jewellery can save it. Looks odd around her bust and a shapeless mess from the waist down. Really, it is that bad.
BDOTW contender for me.
she is gorgeous!!
love it
That necklace is everything!
Does Florence not have a stylist? Why do you refer to her outfit as if she dressed her self?
Even with the beautiful jewels this look still fail because it’s no different from anything she has worn before, and it ages her by at least 15 years. I was shocked when I found out that she is only 25, as pointed out in the comments.
I wish people would see past the age issue – she is not a conventional beauty. However, she is stunning none the less. Again, this is so Florence. I love the green and the necklace. It was really nice to see her do something different with her hair.
Dress is shapeless, and the necklace is lost on it.
While the fabric is exquisite, it does not fit, is matronly and the necklace looks like cheap mother of the bride beadwork. The necklace over a plain peau de soie strapless gown would be sensational without anything going on in the dress.
