Britney Spears and Demi Lovato were at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island, yesterday afternoon for ‘The X Factor’ Season 2 auditions.
It looks like my excitement for their glam squad was short lived.
Britney arrived wearing a Hervé Léger by Max Azria red bandage dress with a revealing plunging neckline which she paired with black Yves Saint Laurent ‘Tribtoo’ platform pumps.
A bandage dress and Tribtoos? They are my least favourite pieces in fashion.
They have been done to death by the likes of Lisa Rinna and Heidi Montag. I thought the point of the glam squad was to revamp her wardrobe, not take us back to 2006.
I will give her points on the hair and makeup on this occasion as both are much improved.
Demi was again dressed in Topshop, wearing a printed long-sleeve dress with a black vest, stacked ankle boots and gold statement necklace.
I was just in Topshop yesterday and they have so many great things that would look so good on Demi. I’m not sure why she continues this ‘dressed in the dark’ approach.

It gives aches to my eyes to watch Britney Spears dressing the same style over and over again. Give it a break woman, please. I have at least 4 random dresses in my wardrobe that would look better than this on her.
My eyes! My poor innocent eyes! God, I’m going to need some major Emma Stone/Zoe Saldana/Diane Kruger/etc. moment to recover from this.
I’m sorry, but Britney looks like a stripper and Demi, as you said, looks like she dressed in the dark (plus, that topknot is ridicolous).
I can’t believe they actually pay stylists to dress them like this, and that they actually agree to dress like this.

Ironically predictable is the one word I would use to describe both these looks. Demi is something ‘edgy’ and hideous from Topshop, Britney in short, low-cut bodycon.
I long for the day “Britney” ceases to be synonymous with “tacky”

I feel liek my eyes have just been abused, which maybe would have been a more enjoyable experience than looking at those photos again. I feel like they are both wearing clothe sto serve a purpose – Britney’s being that she is still as hot as she was circa baby one more time, 14 years ago, and Demi is rebelling against the classic Disney image. That’s the ony logic I can come up with for these looks.
I am in no way, shape or form qualified for it, and I swear to god even I would be a 200% improvement for them as a stylist…
And that says a lot!

both are utterly predictable. demi looks an absolute state.
Whilst I love Demi’s edge, the pieces do seem random (Willow Smith,is that you?) but I love her uniqueness whereas Britney’s bandage dress is very 2008, and when paired with uninspired and heavy black Tribtoo’s, the look becomes unbearable.

I will concede that the bandage dress on Britney is outdated, but I just have to say that she hasn’t looked this beautiful in quite a while. Even if it’s predictable, she’s rocking the dress and I have to compliment her hair and makeup too, best she’s looked in the past two+ years!

They are both thick girls, not fat but thiick, those clothes are so unflattering on both so many designers so many choices and their stylist go for this? Have they heard the word soft lines or even know about chic suit ensembles? Sad very sad

Um… whats wrong with demi’s outfit. Wearing dark has always been her personality. She really can’t win with this site. All you do is criticize her… Can’t you say anything nice about her outfit. Britney has this thought that ‘tighter is better’ and if you have problem with her wearing topshop, why don’t you take it up with them.. :/ She doesn’t look like a hot mess so stfu. If she dresses dark she supposedly looks depressed, if she dresses bright then she looks like a fruit… when does it all stop with you??
Being a fan, doesn’t mean you have to be blind. There is a whole lot going on, and not in a good way. Britney is just stuck in 2005.
