Katy Perry was spotted making her way to the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ studios in Hollywood, California, yesterday to promo her docu-movie ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D’.
When Jimmy asked how she got her hair so purple, Katy said, “I squeeze the purple Teletubby all over my head [and] I go out [in the rain].”
Sporting sky-high Christian Louboutin black-platform slingbacks, the singer wore a Temperley London Fall 2012 dress.
Her purple hair almost blends into her dark floral-print frock with long sheer sleeves.
Katy appears to have taken a more sophisticated, grown-up approach to this promo tour, but I hope we see her fun side at the movie’s LA premiere later this evening.

I like the dress, but I’m not crazy about the heavy, black shoes.
+1
+2 not sure about the sleeves either.
I love the look except for the shoes. They are far too clunky and don’t go with the dress.
I agree.
I think this is fun, but grown up. And it doesn’t clash with her hair. I like it.
The dress is nice and works for her, but the shoes are ugly.
A bit mature approach but lovely, the shoes are too heavy, agree with everyone above. Eliz. Banks’s a bit more playful colourful House of Holland dress would suit Katy beautifully.
Sometimes you can overlook a bad shoe choice and sometimes you can’t.
I’m trying, but I just can’t get past those clod-hoppers.
I don’t like the black shoes either, but during the interview she wore a pair of blue Louboutin’s who were perfect with the dress! FC, maybe you could put a photo on with the blue shoes? they work beautifully with the blue detail at the top of the dress!
Sorry to say that the dress makes me think of Heidi (not Klum) just a tad. Both the shoes and the hair are heavy, weighing her down.
Not feeling this look. Even overlooking the dress that I strongly duslike, those hooves on her feet are far too heavy. Even her hair appears bland against the dress. I am all for sophisticated Katy, but this look is boring and safe.
If you watch the show, the shoes are blue. They work better with the dress.
Exactly!
Actually, I don’t think this look is classy anymore because I just noticed her visible black bra and panties. Sigh.
I don’t like the dress…. that pattern is not doin’ it for me…. I like the shoes…. but not wit’ that dress….
