Alison Pill, star of HBO’s ‘The Newsroom’, attended HBO’s New Series ‘Newsroom’ LA Premiere at ArcLight Cinemas’ Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California, on Wednesday evening.
The actress wore her second Kevan Hall gown in a row.
Last time out she wore an angelic ivory gown; on this occasion she looked chic wearing a modern black matte jersey fitted sheath accented with leather geometric embroidery.
Usally I’m not a fan of ankle boots, but there is something about these Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Elli’ black glitter mesh ankle boots which gives this look a youthful edge.
Dazzling statement earrings and a pretty pink lip colour completed her look.

The dress is beautiful and so are her earrings, but I don’t like the boots. I think that boots don’t look good with knee-length dresses.

I love the whole look. But she need more personality/attitude to pull of this look.
I like it. I wouldn’t have probably chosen those boots, but I think those and the earrings help pull everything together.
This is a nice look. I like that she puts effort into the red carpet.
I see where she was going with the ankle boots but I would have preferred a more demure shoe. Not sure who she is, but she could probably pass as Kristen Bell’s younger sister.
The look is well put together, the booties work on this occassion but she isn’t quite pulling off this more modern look, her angelic one suited her better.
