Whitney Port was officially unveiled as one of the new judges alongside Tyson Beckford and long-standing judge Julien Macdonald at the press launch for ‘Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model’ at the Claridges Hotel in London yesterday afternoon.
On a sunny day in London the new judge was dressed in a Camilla and Marc Fall 2012 dress.
I’m not usually a fan of Whitney’s style, but this colourful dress with a solid watermelon-coloured mini skirt get a thumbs up from me.
She teamed her look with aqua Kurt Geiger mules with silver toe-caps and De Beers jewels from the Wildflowers collection.
The jewels are way over the top for a press launch and this look in general.
Where did she think she was going? To the Oscars?
Seems like she didn’t learn any accessorizing tips from her frenemy Olivia Palermo when they worked at Elle.

She’s a designer but yet she hardly wears any of her collections. It would be nice to see her rocking a Whitney Eve look.

From head to toe – pure disaster. I can see why her fashion line failed. If you cant dress yourself, how will you design for other women.
Yes to the dress (adorable) and her hair and makeup. A big no to the shoes and the jewels–very mysterious choices.
I don’t like any of this. Not the jewelry, the dress or the shoes.
The dress fits odd. It makes both model and actress look bulky in the waist. Are there pockets that flare out? It reminds me of young girls who roll the waist up to make their skirts shorter, not realizing that it adds bulk to their waist. Just odd all the way around.

Only thumbs up for the dress. Her jewels are way too out of place and although I like toe-cap heels, those heels she wore, are the most ridiculous and hideous ones I’ve ever seen.
The dress doesn’t do any favours to her figure and the incomprehensible accessories and styling make it only worst.
Baffling. How does one look in the mirror and not realize how unflattering that dress is. Whitney is a bean pole and it makes her look so wide it’s ridiculous. THe dress is lovely, but the fit is just wrong.

How on earth can Elle Macpherson and Whitney Port judge Next Top Model when they have such terrible personal style. I think Whitney looks awful! The dress is terribly unflattering both on her and on the model and I cannot stand any of those mule type shoes.
