For my final ‘Style Lab’ shoot for LUISAVIAROMA.COM’s Fifth Edition of their FIRENZE4EVER event, I selected something more colourful and impactful.
Nothing has more colour or creates a bigger impact than a Roberto Cavalli dress.
The glamorous jewel-printed kaftan dress would make for the perfect evening gown.
I went heavy on the accessories for this chic draped look with a contemporary silhouette by adding Jimmy Choo ‘Vamp’ gold metallic crossover sandals, gold triangle Maria Francesca Pepe earrings, a LedaOtto ‘Castel del Monte’ bracelet and a Stark gold panther with Astrakhan clutch.
The makeup was a lot bolder on this occasion with smoky green eyes and a bold fuschia-pink lip colour to match the jewel tones in her dress.
I requested that her hair be styled into a top-knot as I didn’t want her glossy locks covering her statement earrings.
Even with the busy backdrop of the merry-go-round, the model and all her accessories still stood out.
The model created so much attention that even locals and tourists were taking her photo.

I would never have thought to use gold shoes here — I would have been ultra-conservative and gone with black sandals to pick up the black in the dress.
This is so much more alive and elegant: the gold picked up in all the accessories and the black in the clutch and bracelet.
