Kristen Stewart took to the red carpet this evening at the Event Cinemas Bondi Junction in Australia for the ‘Snow White & The Huntsman’ Sydney premiere with co-star Chris Hemsworth.
The actress wore a Balmain Fall 2012 collection.
Whilst Kristen is no stranger to wearing Balmain, I would’ve expected her to wear one of their signature mini dresses.
Instead she wore this forest-green two-piece which features a bustier top with a calf-length pencil skirt which are both embroidered with crystal and pearl shimmering details.
Surprisingly she didn’t opt for black pumps; instead she selected a pair of crystallized Louboutins.
I love the punky nature of her hairdo and I’m so glad she didn’t wear the belt.
Either Kristen is more radiant with a lighter hair colour or she’s sporting a tan which is working for her.
A dark pink lip colour completed her look.
This is one of my favourite looks from Kristen this promo tour. How does it fair for you?

i love it but i would have liked it to be an inch shorter!
She is sporting a tan! I love this look head-to-toe. It’s different, edgy and fun.
+1
This look is BDOTW worth except for the hair I really don’t like it
LOVE this look! Definitely one of her best looks during this promo tour. The embroidered details on the ensemble are exquisite and the braided back of her updo is so gorgeous! I also love her shoes and her make up.
This is a big wow moment from Kristen and also a BDOTW contender IMO.
+1
Love the dress and change in hairstyle! But the dress needed serious shortening – maybe a couple of inches off. I don’t think Kristen had the height to pull off the dress length, it makes her legs look like stubs :/
+1
3 words: skirt too long.
Otherwise – I actually like it.

+4 (Perfectly agree with you too Anna)
I love love love that she is trying new things, so happy with the shoe choice. Not quite sure if i like the hair or not, i’m on the fence. But she looks gorgeous, really love the colour.
I like the idea of the outfit but the length is about 4 inches too long. The makeup and hair are OK but the shoes are about 3 sizes too big. Apparently she is still allergic to accessories. I really want KS to have a stellar head to toe look and I haven’t seen it yet . . .
At first, I wish the dress could be 1 or 2 inchs shorter, but then I am amazed by the detail work of the dress, it is really beautiful, like a price of art ! ! !
I like KS’s hair and makeup, it will be 100% perfect if she fix her posture…
Agree that it would be a sin to cut a piece of this beautiful skirt!
But it does look too long on her… A shame, because I think every other aspect of this looks great!
Yes I think shorten it will make the whole Beautiful art-work dress incomplete…
Maybe on someone taller (like Charlize)? !
I agree. The skirt needs to be a few inches shorter.
my god she look every inch a fashionista ! this is my favourite look so far for the SW tour ! BDOTW!
I think that the skirt is too long, but I also don’t like the fit, she seems to have no waist. That along with the hair earns a NO from me.
Wow. She looks stunning and surprisingly not at all awkward. She should definitely wear more Balmain.
The skirt is much too long, hair and make-up look like something out of a bad 80′s horror movie.
The two-piece looks amazing on the runway, but hideous on KS presentation. A big no from me.
Horrible sloppy presentation, agreed, and I think she actually needs that belt badly. A BIG NO from me as well.
The change in the length ruined the dress for me. I’m not a big fan of the hair and makeup either, but I LOVE her shoes. But I think it’s fair to say that overall it’s a great look. She’s gorgeous.
thank god it isnt yet another short dress. wish she wore the belt because the little bit of flesh showing through is bothering me (silly i know) but other than that its a pretty good look.
i love it all. She looks beautiful and confident which is a plus for me. The skirt is a little too long but she is happy. Bdotw of for me.
Too long on her.
She looks stunning! She actually surprised me in a sense of not rocking another mini and by wearing her hair in a updo. This dress is hot! I give her a BDOTW A+
the length is not right… nor the belt.
it works so much better with the proportions of the runway. nevertheless, the dress is beautiful!
She looks like she actually wants to be there -that’s a first in a long time-. The skirt needs to be shorter but with that intricate embroidery I guess shortening would be a tough job… Other than that, seeing a Balmain is always appreciated!
She looks ridiculous.
I agree. The length is all kind of wrong :S
I could not agree more!
Hmmmm….I think I am the only one not loving this look. At all.
thank god they didnt shorten it! the design will be ruined if they went to that route
I’m trying not to, but I seriously hate this look. I can’t put my finger on why exactly, but the skirt is obviously too long, and her pose doesn’t help that at all, I really dislike the shoes with the dress, and the gap between the skirt & the top is just making it all worse. I also don’t really like her hair. I just find it a really ugly, unflattering outfit.
Agree on all counts! the hair, the pose, the length of the skirt…it just does not work on her! very unflattering.
I agree with you both!
I so agree. I can appreciate the artistry of the dress, but dislike the look.
+1
I love it, I can even cope with the extra length (surprised withself).
best she has ever looked! A++
The skirt is an awkward length. It needed to be shorter or longer.
She is a tiny girl, would say 5’5″ the most, so obviously the skirt looks shorter on the model, she didn’t decide to magically make it longer. I also bet that she couldn’t shorten it with the detail that was done, so i don’t fault her for it. Some people don’t think logistically.
I love love love this.
But, I think this length is hard for anyone and everyone to wear. So, fashion people, let’s get rid of this length, ok?
I’ve seen other pictures and this is totally a win.
Okay guys, the longer length SEEMS wrong, but it is DELIBERATE and part of the style of the dress.
I love the look. This is an interesting curveball.
i think this might be the first time i’ve ever liked her look. the hair is a bit iffy though.
she looks beautiful but the almost only one who can rock this length, be short and still look awesome is dita von teese!
Though the skirt IS a tad long for her, she is really rocking this look. I didn’t like the hairstyle at first, but when you look at the closeup it and her makeup are gorgeous. Really a great look.
Awesome ensemble but the length is ruining it for her!
Had the skirt been a little shorter (just under the knee) this would be my favourite look from her ever, by far.
The forest green and the details on the skirt are amazing.
For once, I also love her makeup and her hair.
love the dress. However on Kristen I would prefer shorter skirt, like an under the knee length (the same position on the model). The dress is a bit too long for Kristen so it ends up on her calves which is weird -looking. In overall I really like this look
As soon as I saw Kristen Stewart in Balmain, I had an entirely different image in my head…and this just surpassed it by a mile! She looks stunningly fresh, polished and chic. BDOTW contestant, for sure!
That length is really awkward. I’m tired of seeing her in mini dresses, but this one could have been shortened a bit.
She looks stunning. The detail on the two peice is amazing.
I love that dress. Kristen looks so good. the green is super pretty against her skin. I love that her style is evovling.
She looks gorgeous. Happy and confident. Love the whole look, let’s leave it at that.
awful!!she sould have stuck to the minis..
she looks great i agree that the skirt is a little to long but i love the idea and the detailing of the outfit is great
I hate the hairstyle(if you can even call it that) and I think the skirt should be shorter so its the same length it is on the model, but other than that, she looks great. I do wish that she wore the belt though as I think that would have pulled everything together nicely.
Terrible, overwhelming and comic. It looked as though Kristen walked out of a shower with hair in a bun and just wrapped herself in a rug.
Have you seen the back of her hair? It’s a really nice braid. Too bad the pics don’t know that. It’s not just a messy bun.
I’ll give her points for not wearing a mini dress and looking like she somewhat wants to be there, but, as usual, she’s a red carpet fail. The hair looks ratty, her fingernails look chipped, the shoes don’t fit her feet and the outfit is ill-fitting.
You seriously looked at her fingernails? Okay. And kitten heels are ill fitting on some people – including me.
LOVE it!! The detail on the top and skirt is amazing, they fit her perfectly and she carries this look off so well! Very happy to see her not wearing black pumps. I didn’t love the hair when I first saw it but after going through the different images to see different angles I do love it now.
the dress needs to be worn with the belt
loving this outfit on her. yes it does look a tad long but it works on her for some reason. if it’s a few inches shorter, her legs would then look skinnier that usual cos she seems to have skinny lower legs. so i’m fine with this length actually. the detailing of this ensemble is to die for.
She looks strange here. Perhaps it’s the lenght of the skirt. I think it would have worked out perfectly had she worn another of her traditional mini skirts: They fit her – or her legs – well
Hair and attitude is lovely though!
Love this look! I’m so glad she kept the original length of the skirt. It would have been a shame to cut up that beautiful pattern! Also the hair and makeup work really well here. She’s positively glowing!
Kristen looks great ! Have you noticed that Kristen only does efforts with her hair when it’s not Twi-premiere ?
The detailing and embellishment is gorgeous. The skirt length is really awkward though, a couple inches off the bottom could have made this look a 10 out of 10.
