Shailene Woodley attended the Directors Showcase For UCLA School Of Theater, Film And Television 2012 Film Festival at the DGA Theater in LA on Thursday.
The talented actress wore a Mary Katrantzou Fall 2012 dress, which was presented as a long-sleeve top and pants on the runway.
She let her dragon-fly, bow accented box print ‘Sphinx’ dress be the centre of attention, like all Mary Katrantzou’s looks command, by simply styling her dress with black pumps and a simple bun.

Love the dress. This might be one of my favorite looks of her.
I understand that she lets the dress be the centre of attention, but that doesn’t mean that she has to pair it with such boring shoes. Simple blue sandals would’ve been preferred.

This is a great look for her! I’m glad to see she pulled her hair back. Also I can’t help but notice the hair tie on her wrist. I’m hoping it’s a bracelet…it doesn’t affect the look for me but it does make me laugh (that is, assuming its a hair tie)!
This dress is wonderful, but it would look better with blue (or dare I say white) sandals. Like the popular Givenchy sandals perhaps.

Its appropriate for a UCLA Gala but as usual her makeup and hair let her down. Anything she wears, no matter how couture, ends up looking like “High school girl at her first job interview” because of the non-existent make up and casual hair. Every. Single. Time.
Me looking at her pic: “Okay, simply but nice hair. Makeup is good, too. OMG, it’s my favorite Mary Katrantzou’s dress. Black shoes?? I don’t want to live anymore” Then I’m dead.
The whole pixed print thing makes no sense to me but I very much appreciate it and I really like this dress and Shailene carries it off really well. Hair and makeup is great and don’t mind the shoes. Not my first colour choice but ties in with the black on the dress. I am assuming that it is a hair lacky on her wrist, which I am not a fan of.
Overall, I think she looks fantastic
