Selena Gomez In Versace – Alliance For Children’s Rights 3rd Annual Celebrity Right To Laugh Event

Selena Gomez attended the Alliance For Children’s Rights 3rd Annual Celebrity Right To Laugh event in Hollywood on Tuesday.

Wearing her second Versace look of the week, Selena chose a pale blue Spring 2012 dress with asymmetrical chiffon pleating and a matching studded belt.

Had you said ‘Selena Gomez’ and ‘Versace’ to me a few months ago, I would have laughed, but this girly frock, paired with blush-coloured heels, is the perfect match with the young star.

Loose curls, blue eyeshadow and glossy lips complete the look.

Many of you loved Selena’s midriff-baring Versace look earlier in the week, so how does this second look from the same collection fare?

Versace and ‘Twilight’ fans will remember that Ashley Greene wore this same dress back in October for the ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1’ Stockholm Fan Event.

I would’ve loved it so much more if the top part was better fitted…

      Agreed.
Probably it would have helped if she had worn the belt as presented on the runway.

The shoes are also very boring for this dress.

+1 Ashley Greene wore it best

She looks lovely. That color is TDF!

FC you’re going to love Mrs. Obama’s black gown from the Presidential Medal of Freedom award ceremony last night x

I am left wanting more from this look. The lippie is perfect, the dress is well fitted and gorgeous, but the blush heels are a bit heavy and boring. I wish she opted for a brighter color, and maybe even sandals. Also, this look deserved a sleek hairstyle.

I love everything but the hair! I wish she would have worn it off her shoulders.

Congrats Selena on looking APPROPRIATE for once.

I loved the dress on Ashley better, as it is more her style.

I hope Selena doesn’t wear more Versace in the future, as it is not a good brand match.

Yes, I’m so glad she looks appropriate here! I really dislike the revealing direction she’s been going in. She used to have a very classy style and this reflects it. The color is great on her. Wish she’d worn more interesting shoes, though.

Liking this look less than her last Versace. I think it’s her hair and the blue eye shadow

  9. Yeliz June 14, 2012 at 18:51 #

I think she looks great and I prefer this look to her other Versace look.

Like the dress could be a better fit, the hair and shoes dont go with the dress IMO

for me versace needs someone with sex appeal and attitude and sadly selena has neither.

    • DorianGray June 15, 2012 at 09:35 #

      +1

She looks great, again, but I’m getting more and more bored. Her style has become incredibly predictable. I just hope she’ll start taking risks soon.
