Last week Jessica Chastain gave us a preview of the Prabal Gurung Resort 2013 collection when she attended the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City.

The 32 looks feature the designer’s signature eye-catching prints, modern silhouettes and bold use of colours.

Inspired by the works of Aaron Moran, the influence could be seen in Prabal’s architecturally inspired designs, but Moran’s work really comes to life in the geometric prints from this collection.

For the red carpet, Prabal gives his celebrity fans such as Zoe Saldana plenty of options including a sculptural bias cut red-hot gown, an acid-yellow corset gown and a white draped-back evening gown.

Prabal’s collaborations with key accessories designers continue, as this collection features three Linda Farrow sunglasses in coral, sky-blue and black and four Nicholas Kirkwood booties.
