Summer is just beginning, but it seems as though we already have our shoe of the season.
Celebrities everywhere have been spotted wearing strappy Givenchy sandals.
Diane Kruger first sported the heels last month at the Cannes Film Festival, pairing the simple white heels with a girly coral Calvin Klein dress.
Proving their astonishing versatility, Cassie wore the very same pair the next day with a wildly different look.
Decked out in an exotic printed Salvatore Ferragamo jumpsuit, the simple sandals are a perfect balance to the bold look.
Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Connelly and Amanda Seyfried have all recently worn the sandals on the red carpet, while Fergie took the shoes in a casual direction for a flight to LAX wearing a sporty Alexander Wang ensemble.
In both black and white, these two-strap heels are the perfect subtle shoes to match pretty much any outfit.
Metallic accents give off a luxe feel, while the minimal coverage complements each ensemble without overpowering.
We expect to see many more Givenchy sandals stomp down the carpet in the coming months.

IMO Charlize Started the trend, and to me she is the one person who I always think about when I see these divine shoes.

Love these shoes. Simple, classic and elegant!
I love these shoes too. I would guess that they’re more comfortable than other shoes because of the lower (4″) heel.
Terribly behind commenting, as I’ve been away, but I can’t resist putting in my input…These shoes from the side are elegant, but the ankle strap (particularly in white) is too jarring from the front. I also don’t like many of the outfits they were paired with.
