The 11th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball took place in LA, California, on Saturday afternoon with a bevy of beauties in attendance.
Lea Michele made a beautiful entrance to the private Mandeville Canyon estate of Susan Harris and Hayward J. Kaiser, wearing an Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 gown.
Her nude silk long-sleeved pastel watercolour-printed gown with sheer geometric inserts was yet another stunning look for the ‘Glee’ actress.
The backless gown was styled with Pomellato ‘Capri’ chalcedony earrings, ‘Capri’ chalcedony dome ring and a beautiful pink lip colour.
She opted to sweep her hair forward to ensure the back was left clear, but maybe she should’ve worn her hair up on this occasion.
Are you Team Lea? Or are you still not ready to fall in love with her red carpet looks just yet?

I love this! Her style is growing on me. I just hope that the “trying too hard phase” is over. I like her more in dresses which doesn’t seem like they were taken from JLo’s closet.
Ditto.
The hair ruins the look for me. It’s a big of a mess at the front, the bangs need some attention with scissors.
I just find the hair too heavy for the dress considering it covers the neck line. Either having it up would’ve complimented the entire dress OR similar to the runway model and sacrifice the back, which wouldn’t have bothered me, cause although she has made drastic improvements with her ‘attitude’ – there is still that level of fake-ness she needs to shake off that I get with the pictures showing the back.
As an outfit though, the dress is great and she does look nice and relaxed.
I am not loving her hair on this occasion but the dress is stunning and she looks fantastic in it.
FC I am loving the new picture feature you have added to the site. It is awesome being able to see different photos of each look! Thanks
xo
glad to hear you like it
the sheer details don’t work so well with her petite frame, but she looks very good nonetheless!
I love this from head to toe.
I’d love it even more if her hair was swept up in some sort of crown braid. I suspect she’s trying to grow out her bangs but she’s wearing it oddly in the meanwhile. The rest of the look I love. The dress is beautiful, I love pastels, and her makeup is very fresh.
She looks nice. I like the pink lippie.
Love the dress. Hate the hair. Her bangs are way too full. Although I will say I think her style has taken a turn for the better
Don’t like this at all.
Screams old curtain fabric to me.
Agreed! It is horrible.
amen. hallelujah. it looks like it smells like mothballs.
I thought the same thing.OLD CURTAINS are the right words. However the shape and the cut aren’t bad
She looks great here. I think the dress is perfect for Lea without being over the top.
Love the gown on her but her hair most definitely should have been up.
The sleeves are WAY too long.
I love the dress on her but those bangs look ridiculous…
Way too dowdy (at least from the front)
for me she looks better than she ever has. usually her head looks enormous. i think this ‘heavier’ look balances her and the piles of hair take away from her freakish head
This dress is too heavy for the season.
This dress looks musty to me, and the style– form-fitting,long sleeves, with the criss-cross front detail, is not a favorite of mine for some reason. Also, Leah’s hair is NOT good. Those bangs need to go! And anyway, she should have worn an updo!
