2012 Tony Awards Red Carpet Round Up
Here are the rest of the looks from the 2012 Tony Awards held in New York City yesterday evening.
Sheryl Crow: The singer wore a gorgeous Marchesa navy embroidered illusion gown. The detail on the bodice is sensational.
Cynthia Nixon: The newly-married actress arrived on the red carpet wearing a Carolina Herrera gown. Her raspberry draped neck gown featured a crystal embellished insert and a red waistband. I would’ve loved the gown had it not been for the red waistband. A darker berry hue would’ve worked better for me to complement the crystals. A light pink clutch, Fred Leighton jewels and lavender peep-toes completed her look.
Judith Light: The actress graced the red carpet wearing a Sophie Theallet chiffon charmeuse scarf gown from the Resort 2012 collection. The Tony- winning actress, for ‘Other Desert Cities’, dazzled with a selection of jewels including a breathtaking necklace which upstaged her gown somewhat. A gold glitter clutch and gold earrings completed her Tony Award-winning look.
Cristin Milioti: The actress looked beautiful wearing a Jason Wu emerald green strapless silk chiffon gown. The simple yet beautiful gown was accessorized with Irene Neuwirth jewels and a gold clutch. I love the way she styled her updo.
Celia Keenan-Bolger: The actress gave us the princess moment of the night, wearing a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown. The tulle gown with gold embroidery has been worn on the red carpet once before by Cat Deeley, but the gown looked just as good a second time around. The only thing I’m not too crazy about is the extreme side-swept wavy locks.
Audra McDonald: The beautiful actress picked up her fifth Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her work in The Gershwins’ ‘Porgy and Bess’. She honoured costume designers ESosa, by wearing a stunning electric-blue dress they designed for her. De Beers jewelry accessorized her one-shoulder gown.
