2012 Tony Awards Red Carpet Round Up

Here are the rest of the looks from the 2012 Tony Awards held in New York City yesterday evening.

Sheryl Crow: The singer wore a gorgeous Marchesa navy embroidered illusion gown. The detail on the bodice is sensational.

Cynthia Nixon: The newly-married actress arrived on the red carpet wearing a Carolina Herrera gown. Her raspberry draped neck gown featured a crystal embellished insert and a red waistband. I would’ve loved the gown had it not been for the red waistband. A darker berry hue would’ve worked better for me to complement the crystals. A light pink clutch, Fred Leighton jewels and lavender peep-toes completed her look.

Judith Light: The actress graced the red carpet wearing a Sophie Theallet chiffon charmeuse scarf gown from the Resort 2012 collection. The Tony- winning actress, for ‘Other Desert Cities’, dazzled with a selection of jewels including a breathtaking necklace which upstaged her gown somewhat. A gold glitter clutch and gold earrings completed her Tony Award-winning look.

Cristin Milioti: The actress looked beautiful wearing a Jason Wu emerald green strapless silk chiffon gown. The simple yet beautiful gown was accessorized with Irene Neuwirth jewels and a gold clutch. I love the way she styled her updo.

Celia Keenan-Bolger: The actress gave us the princess moment of the night, wearing a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown. The tulle gown with gold embroidery has been worn on the red carpet once before by Cat Deeley, but the gown looked just as good a second time around. The only thing I’m not too crazy about is the extreme side-swept wavy locks.

Audra McDonald: The beautiful actress picked up her fifth Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her work in The Gershwins’ ‘Porgy and Bess’. She honoured costume designers ESosa, by wearing a stunning electric-blue dress they designed for her. De Beers jewelry accessorized her one-shoulder gown.

Cristin Milioti is my favourite here. I love this simple and elegant look.

I would’ve liked Sheryl Crow’s look too, if she had worn her hair up.

I love the color of Audra McDonald’s gown, it looks amazing against her skin.

Judith Light an Celia Keenan-Bolger look ok. And my least favourite is Cynthia Nixon.

Except for Judith Light, all these women look awful. Bernadette Peters was by far the best dressed.

Sheryl is my favorite of this bunch, that gown is beautiful and she is oozing confidence. Audra McDonald is my next favorite…that color is divine against her skin! Cristin Milioti looks great here too, love the gown and her hair.

I like Cristin and Audra best. The colors are wonderful and perfectly suit their skin tones. The dresses are simple without being severe.
I also like their hair and make-up the best. Both look beautiful.

Cristin is my fave. here. Wish Audra had styled her hair a bit better as well.
Judith’s bulky necklace completely takes over the look, she didn’t need it.

  10. Christine June 11, 2012 at 19:11 #

Sheryl: Ok, great color, but the top makes her look boxy.
Cynthia: just no. The red waistband is horrible.
Judith: elegant, but not a stand-out.
Cristin: looks like Emmy Rossum! She looks fab. The best here.
Celia: the dress is really pretty, but it was far better on Cat.
Audra: love the color. Second best dressed after Cristin.
