Jessica Chastain took to the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted’ yesterday evening in New York City.
The actress donned a vintage Yves Saint Laurent strapless dress from Decades.
This is the thing I find frustrating about Jessica. I don’t find this strapless sheath dress with a sweetheart neckline exciting.
I think the cute Carven ensemble she wore to ‘Live! With Kelly’ was much more fun and appropriate for an animated movie premiere. This is a photocall look at best.
A vintage Yves Saint Laurent belt nipped in her waist. The rest of her accessories included YSL pumps, an Aurelie Bidermann cuff and matching studded earrings.
She styled her hair into a pretty updo and a rose pink lip colour completed her look.

I think this is one of her better looks but yes, not very exciting. I agree that her amazing Carven look would’ve been great for this occasion.

I like it. I love the gold jewelry. I kinda wish she wore gold sandals.
I love Jessica Chastain but I too can’t get excited about this look. It’s not flattering either and the shoes are boring. She could’ve definitely boosted the look with daring sexy Diego Dolcini heels.

It’s always so frustrating with her! Her closeups are gorgeous, she’s a true beauty, but it often feels like there’s something missing in her outfits, and I don’t mean a clutch..
I actually think this looks pretty on her. Not anything special, but I love the cuff, the dress fits her well and I like it with the belt, and the shoes are tolerable–they certainly don’t add anything.

This look is good for nothing – from the boring dress to her hair/makeup and choice of accessories -nothing works here for me. Not a good look for her on any occassion.
Unflattering, overly revealing neckline–much like a couple of Westwood’s that she’s worn. The rest is rather blah, not bad, but kind of boring. Oh, Jessica. You are capable of so much more!
The only thing that catches my attention here is the bracelet, which I like. I can’t get excited about the rest of the look. For this premiere, I would have liked to see her wear something more fun.
