Kate Bosworth attended the 2012 Whitney Art Party sponsored by Theory and Saks Fifth Avenue at Skylight SoHo in New York City yesterday evening.
The beautiful actress, who you believe had a rare off-day at the CFDA Fashion Awards, was back to her best on this occasion.
Jumping on the summer LBD trend, Kate wore a custom Theyskens’ Theory short-sleeve dress with gold embroidery inspired by the Fall 2012 collection.
Not usually regarded for her tresses, Kate sported full, glossy wavy locks and opted for a simple natural beauty regime.
Black strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals completed her look.

I really like this look!
She looks fantastic! I’ve been loving all of her red carpet looks lately (CFDA Awards included).
I think Theyskens’ Theory is a great brand match for Kate. I think she should combine Vanessa Bruno and Theyskens’ Theory pieces for dynamo red carpet looks.
i love her make up
This looks really pretty and I am not generally a fan of hers. The dress is summery and cute. Agree her hair looks much fuller and prettier than usual. And the shoes are divine.
I really like this!!!
The styling here is top-notch.
Loving the simple natural beauty regime, she looks so fresh and pretty. Lovely look on her, very nice sandals. But she really needs to work on her stance, turn out those feet (/keep them straight) and position her legs closer together. It takes away from the overall presentation.
I agree – sometimes I think she has an unlucky photograph, but then I look back and realise she always stands like this!
She’s so beautiful! I’m not really a fan of this summer LBD trend, but I don’t mind on this occasion. The styling and the pattern on the dress give the look a “warm vibe”.
I’ve noticed in recent photos of them that they’re both wearing wedding bands…
I like everything. She really looks chic.
Now this is more like it. I really like this look.
Love the shoes.
Wish that she’d change the pose, but other than that, she’s back to her best. So chic and elegant, yet laidback and with a touch of edge.
