Raquel Prates looked gorgeous at Globos De Ouro 2012, held in Portgual recently.
The Portuguese television star wore a Georges Hobeika Fall 2011 Couture gown.
It’s been too long since we last saw a Georges Hobeika gown on the red carpet. I really hope we see more in the future.
Her blush gown with embellished cap-sleeves and embroidered waist belt was styled with stunning jewels, but she loses points for her black clutch.
Side-swept locks completed the look.

A gorgeous look sans the clutch and maybe a different hairstyle.
Clutch aside, this is stunningly gorgeous. It is my frontrunner for BDOTW at this point!!!! The pleating on the skirt is divine.
I prefer the restrained elegance of the runway styling with the hair and makeup.
Racquel’s sexy approach doesn’t work for the gown.
Yeah, this dress desperately need an elegant lady, which is she, imo, doesn’t have it.
The black clutch is truly an eyesore with such a light pretty gown, why not a pretty embellished clutch?? I’d ditch that bracelet – no need for it considering the busy embellished sleeves and opt for an elegant uodo.
*updo
The black clutch -10 points
The hair-style -30 points
The make-up -50 points
The dress is great by itself here. Not liking the clutch.
I’m portuguese,.. and I was pretty chocked to see a portuguese woman here. The show, Globos de Ouro, is like the Portuguese Oscars and in terms of style on the red carpet it’s the worse you can find. I agree with all of you, the make-up, hair and the clutch, but still, she was the best dressed there…
Sorry but the best dressed golden globes were Raquel Prates, Jessica Athayde, claudia vieira and model Sara Sampaio.
Black clutches are a staple in Portugal. So are pashminas. Everyone wears that for big events. It’s a shame, it’s ugly, but it’s sort of like a “thing” here. Ah well
