Olivia Palermo and her beau Johannes Huebl were in Jersey City for the 5th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Saturday afternoon.
The socialite wore a violet shirt over a Topshop dark green tank and a semi-sheer Topshop metallic pleated skirt.
She accessorized with a gold pendant Carrera y Carrera necklace and Wunderkind sunglasses.
Simple hazelnut flats, a matching Givenchy ‘Nightingale’ leather bag and wavy locks completed the look.
Normally I love whatever Olivia wears, but I only like the accessories on this occasion.
The top half of this look doesn’t work with the bottom half for me.

this look seems like it was taken from an 80s maybe even 90s sitcom.
I think she looks lovely, but it’s not my favourite look of hers either.
My problem is that I can’t take my eyes off of Johannes, he looks so handsome!

Slightly overaccessorized but I think that she pulled it off–I really like the skirt. Can’t take my eyes off her BF!!!!

Her outfit seems quite casual, especially compared to her boyfriend’s.
It’s her violet shirt that is out of sinc with the dark green-gold metallic of the rest of her outfit. her boyfriend’s shirt and tie don’t make much sense either – should’ve stayed in beige-brown spectrum.
Took a closer look.. the violet shirt could’ve worked if her bag and shoes were more in lavender tones (but it’s really hard to judge colours based on what you can see on your monitor)

After gazing upon her boyfriend, my eyes immediately went to her accessories (jewelry in particular) and how well they were organized. I disregarded her clothes except to think she looks nice in purple.
She looks like someone’s grandma! She has a lot of nice pricey items, and said “Aw why not! I’ll wear it all!”
