Jessica Pare was one of the presenters at the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards, held at the Alice Tully Hall in New York City yesterday evening.
The ‘Mad Men’ actress wore a Jason Wu Fall 2012 dress.
This is the first time I am seeing Jessica outside of the 60s attire worn on the hit TV show, but I love this modern look.
She teamed a black silk devore velvet shirt paired with a hot-pink skirt embroidered with Swarovski Elements and velvet inserts.
Her black Jason Wu black velvet “Lily” pump work with the formal feel of this look.
I would’ve loved her to have opted for a pretty pink lip colour, but she opted to go bare.
Black tassel Tiffany & Co earrings and side-swept updo completed her look.

On The Runway its gorgeous but I am not liking it on her.
I agree, the clothes looked amazing on the runway, but aren’t translating so well si real life. The runway sandals would have helped, as would a clutch & smokier eyes, it just ooks a little pedestrian as it is.
I’ve never been a fan of the skirt so I can’t say I like her outfit. And yes FC, you’re right, she should of had red lips
Love- she looks amazing. Pink lips would’ve helped, but this outfit is a dream, and I even love the shoes with it!
She was actually at the Met Ball, FC, in L’Wren Scott (I think)
The skirt and that color are fantastic. Everything else is meh.
She needed better accessories and stronger makeup to make this look work.
The dress is the only thing that I like about this look.
+1
I have always thought that pink shiny fabric with black lace looks like cheap lingerie and sadly this is no exception. Not a fan of this look.
I like the dress and she looks good in it. She needed better accessories and make-up.
Loved this dress on the runway but the translation to red carpet is not great in this case as the dress has lost it’s impact. The styling is also a bit off.
before reading the commentary I thought, this is a fall look. Then i read and it was. For me this does not translate to spring, summer at all. Even with the popping pink color.
Better on the runway, but in both cases I’m not sold. It’s too jarring and not particularly flattering. Boring shoes.
