Maggie Cheung joined Jessica Alba on the red carpet for the World Premiere of the Montblanc New And Biggest Concept Store In The World in Beijing, China.
The beautiful actress wore an Elie Saab Fall 2011 Couture gown.
Her fully-embroidered taupe Couture V-neck gown with draped hips was accented with a velvet waistband.
Obligatory Montblanc jewels and a simple sweeping cropped hairstyle completed her look.

Who Was Your Best Dressed On Day 3 of Cannes Film Festival 2013?

As beautiful as they are, I’m starting to think all these Elie Saab gowns look the same.
It’s not that they look the same; but it seems that actresses and stars are sticking to his sequin gowns rather than daring to experiment the rest of the collection. I love his choice of unique colors and tailoring, but I agree with you that the redundancy of ‘choice’ is making his style seem limited when it’s not.
Her cropped hairsyle doesn’t go with the very soft feminine romantic Elie Saab creation. No need for the necklace, should’ve kept the floral accent on the belt.
Agree. But overall she looks good. It’s hard not to look good on a Elie Saab, but I’m thinking that maybe she’s a bit overdressed?
I agree that the necklace is overkill, but as FC pointed out, it’s pretty much obligatory at this promotional event. And since she had to wear it, I think the simpler belt was a good idea.
I adore the color of this dress, especially on Maggie, and think she looks gorgeous.
Oops missed the ‘obligatory’ part. In this case, it was a good idea to get rid of the detail on the waistband.
BDOTW!
What a beautiful dress!
Since it was a jewelry event, the necklace gets a pass, otherwise a hell no. Her dark lipcolor works with the dress. She looks great.
Even if she had to wear the necklace and really wanted to wear Elie Saab too, she should’ve chosen a gown less embroidered and more simple so that the focus is on the necklace.
I feel like I’ve seen this dress so many times.
I can definitely see Milla Jovovich wearing this.
This is one of those typical cases in which the dress is doing all the work.
Stunning gown, but the styling is meh (I hate the necklace with it).
Never wore a sequin dress when you have the obligate to wear lots of jewellery. Jessica Alba’s look is perfect for this type of event. She choose a simple dress to let the jewellery do the talking.
Maggie Cheung looks so good in that gown with a simpler belt, which is a smart idea.
In the mood for Maggie Cheung.
A gorgeous and elegant gown! She looks like a star! Another fantabulous Elie Saab dazzler!
