Louise Roe attended the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on Sunday evening.
The British TV presenter wore a David Meister gown.
Her purple metallic-knit dress with an asymmetrical off-the-shoulder detail seems a bit dressy to the MTV Movie Awards.
Something tells me she should’ve saved her Manish Arora dress for this event.
The romantic look was styled with a nude lip colour, kohl-rimmed eyes and side-swept curls.

Not a bit FC, but too dressy
.
Bring back Last week’s Manish Arora dress and it could’ve been perfect with this event.
Nice, but nothing to write home about.
This is too dressy for a fun event like this. You’re right FC, she should have saved her Manish Arora dress for this.
I wonder what she is doing at the MTV Movie Awards. She altogether looks and is out of place.
I do think she looks great though.
The dress is very beautiful, but I agree is a bit too much for the event. And even if I can’t see all the shoes, they look quite ugly.
“Something tells me she should’ve saved her Manish Arora dress for this event.” I totally agree.
This gown isn’t doing her any favours and it’s not event appropriate either. Her hair is much better though.
Yep wrong dress for the wrong event.
The dress is okay.
ok, so she made a poll at glamour’s website for readers to help her decide what to wear. unfortunately the majority did not realize what the rest of us did: okay dress, but not for an MTV event (not even the Movie Awards)
this is proof that public polls should not be the sole deciding factor when one dresses
wow…what a big error on her part for agreeing to do that
She looks beautiful, her hair and makeup look great and the dress looks nice on her but not for the MTV movie awards.
I actually don’t mind it for the event. It breaks up a long train of tight mini dresses, which aren’t my style. She looks beautiful here–flawless styling, interesting and elegant dress. BDOTN…she and the two Emma’s are sticking out in my mind, actually.
She looks lovely, but this is definitely not event appropriate.
Should’ve saved her other dress for this event, agree. The silver/metallic knit dress calls for silver accessories.
Ooh. I like this a lot actually. I also like the styling (except what little I’m seeing of the shoes). Unfortunately, it really has nothing to do with an MTV event.
