Kat Graham was the host of the 2012 MTV Movie Awards pre-show, held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on Sunday evening.
I was really surprised she opted for this Maria Lucia Hohan gown.
By Kat’s standards this black long-sleeve gown with padded shoulders, a plunging v-neck, and a thigh-high split is tame by her standards.
I guess as she was hosting she didn’t want to upstage the stars she was interviewing.
Large gold statement earrings and dark blue Ruthie Davis ‘Dragon open-toe and ankle-cuff platform sandals accessorized her look.
Slicked-back hair, dark eye makeup, and a glossy nude lip shade provided the finishing touches.

I just love those shoes. A lot.
I’m not sure how I feel about the gown on her tiny frame but she looks good.
she looks so glamorous. I love her look from head to toe.
And I think this is the first time I love a Maria Lucia Hohan gown.
Makeup is flawless!
This is VERY tame by her standards but I do love everything about this look.
Kat Graham is really tacky and annoying but she looks good here. Tolerable.
Hate the gown on her. I’ve never liked a dress by this designer but this should have been worn by someone much taller. And those shoes with the jewelry and dress!!!??? It’s all so horrible and bad I was embarrassed for her every time an actress came up to her. They all looked at her like ‘poor girl needs a stylist’, and if you have one, change now!!!!!
Such a pretty girl, such a weird style.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone looking good in that hairstyle.
I think she looks like a bombshell and the shoes are just wonderful
I like the look, but I just don’t understand the hairstyle.
Hmm.. I guess it’s no from me.
I think this is better than most of her looks, but still quite bad.
I don’t know, between the dress’ material, the shoes and the earrings the looks feels a bit cheap to me.
Also, those “quarterback” shoulders are just too much for her.
Sexy dress but not with them stripper looking shoes.
The dress and the shoes are too big. And they don’t mix well to begin with.
It’s a no for me.
I think the gown is overwhelming her frame. I like everything else though.
Cute little short dress would look PERFECT on her small frame. This is overwhelming. Stripped, size-too-big shoes dont help either. Her makeup however is FLAWLESS.
I meant to write “STRIPPER” on my original comment.
With the oversized shoulders and bold split I think she should have skipped on the earrings. I also can’t like this hair. Other than that I do like this look, I love her shoes and the makeup looks great.
The statement earrings (maybe not particular these ones)are needed here imo.
No. Very tacky. And the hairstyle/earrings are dated.
I think she pulls it off well.
I really like this which is really surprising considering what she normally wears.
Wow, i’m very proud that a romanian designer, Maria Lucia Hohan, creates outfits for the hottest stars. The dress falls perfect, looks great!
