Julianne Hough attended the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, held in Universal City, California, on Sunday evening.
As a huge fan of Sally LaPointe I was excited to see a dress from her Fall 2012 collection worn on the red carpet, but I can’t help but wish someone like Kat Graham or Emma Watson had worn this dress.
I don’t think Julianne has the chops to pull this look off. She reminds me of a WAG. Access to designer clothes, but she doesn’t have a clue how to make them work for her.
She had body, but brings no edge to the peplum-embroidered look.
Sleek, straight locks, black peep-toes and a pink lip colour provided the finishing touches.

She definintely has the cheese factor, the country singer look that makes her an eyeroll, which is kinda not her fault, as I think she is a natural blonde.
I would’ve liked strappy black Jimmy Choos with this.
I hardly recognised her, love your observation about the WAG, she is actually reminding me of Lara Bingle (something about the super pale blue eyes and somehow not managing to pull of designer that well). She has a great body but looks straight up and down in this, not good.

She has a cute figure! The dress is a little bit boring for the MMA’s. The MMA’s is the chance to be risky. I wouldn’t want to see Emma or Kat in it. Emma easily was best dressed. Edgy, sleek, and gave a new designer a platform at a big event.
This dress makes her look wide and the shoes are a bore. Not a good look.

Not flattering at all. All I can think of is Britney Spears at the MTV VMAs a few years ago…probably not the look Julianne was going for.
