Emilia Clarke attended the Sky Atlantic HD Launch Party for ‘Game of Thrones’ in Hamburg, Germany, on Wednesday.
Still in her early days on the red carpet, the young British actress opted for this Halston Heritage Spring 2012 gown.
The black satin organza gown with a cascading ruffled skirt was teamed with a black Halston Heritage ‘Organic Convertible’ clutch.
I would say the gown seems a bit OTT for the occasion, but I guess she wanted to dress to impress.
Side-swept curls, silver jewels and a beautiful red lip colour completed her look.

I still remember her stunning Chanel look at the SAG Awards.
For a half-second, the over-the-shoulder picture reminded me of a young Miley Cyrus. Emilia is much classier and more elegant than Miley is/was! I really like her style. This dress is definitely dramatic, but I think she carries it off remarkably! Love the bright lip and pretty hair.
She looks beautiful.
She looks great! I love her as a brunette, a very flattering dress, and the lip colour suits her.
I suppose you can say a tad overdressed for a launch party, but I feel the drama of the outfit compliments her character in the tv show.
After all, she plays Danaerys Stormborn.
