Demi Lovato In Topshop – ‘The X Factor’ Season 2 Austin Auditions

Demi Lovato joined Britney Spears in Austin, Texas, for her first round of auditions as judge for ‘The X Factor’ Season 2.

She also opted for a neon hue, wearing a Topshop fit-and-flare printed dress.

In typical Demi fashion, she added a cropped black leather jacket to her look and an edgy touch to her bright-yellow dress.

A top knot, bold cat eyes and CJG for Topshop black peep-toe platform pumps with a studded heel completed her look.

Let’s hope she can give Britney some style tips as this a perfect look for the first day on the job.

Youthful and pretty with an edge.

I don’t like this look – I find it quite tacky (especially the makeup).

She should call Maria Lucia Hohan and ask her to make some dresses for her.

+1. The oodles of fake tan and tacky makeup kill this look for me.

Why so much make-up? she looks like a clown.

Agree on everything tacky. I don’t even know where to begin but her and Britney are equally badly dressed in my opinion

MUCH better than Britney. It’s not really my style but she looks good. The makeup is too heavy, though, and her hair looks kind of fried.

      Totally agree.

    • Christine May 25, 2012 at 22:54 #

      I have to agree.

    Cute outfit.
    Awful make-up and hair.
She is sooooo much prettier as a brunette, IMO.

She should call Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, or try to stick on Theyskens Theory

I would have styled her differently. I wish she wore my hair down, wore strappy sandals, wore natural looking makeup and zipped down the top part of the dress halfway.

I’ve got mixed feelings about this.
I do like the dress, in fact, is my fav thing on the whole look, but I feel that she should loose the jacket, I understand she is using it to give an edge to the look, but it feels contrieved, and too hot for this almost summer weather. I like her top knot, very playful, and apropiate.

On the other hand The make-up is hideous and so overdone. She looks way older. All in all she looks good.

I can’t get past the hair and make-up. Tragedies.

+1. She frustrates me. Beneath the try-hard makeup and bleached blonde hair is a natural beauty. I just don’t understand.

I actually really like this look. And I know people rip on her makeup but it’s just focused on her eyes so I think it’s fine. She does tend to wear a good amount of makeup but I feel like she’s got that skin canvas to be able to play with colors and techniques-kind of like Rihanna.

I like her outfit but she has wayyy too much fake tan and her roots are terrible.

  10. lena1 May 28, 2012 at 13:19 #

I like Demi but for this look, one word terrible….

I think she looks gorgeous. Who cares if she’s wearing a lot of make-up. The whole point in make-up is to make your self look good, which she does, so shut up the people who are complaining she’s not “natural enough”. Demi looks awesome!!

She looks great. The make-up is a little bit to much, but it’s alright.
