Kylie Minogue is also at Cannes Film Festival promoting her new project ‘Holy Motors’ at a photocall held at the Palais des Festivals earlier this afternoon.
The Australian singer wore an Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 dress.
Kylie’s dress is a more daytime-friendly version to the one which took to the runway.
The military-green dress retains the plunging neckline, the fitted style and central split and loses the sheer yoke and sleeves gaining a peplum waist and jersey panel.
With her hair styled into a low bun, she added black Christian Louboutin ‘New Marpoil’ peep-toes, drop earrings and pink nail polish to her look.

I like the runway version of course but the her modified version is more appropriate for day time. So, good choice on Kylie’s part.
Getting tired of seeing black shoes and nude pumps everywhere though.

I prefer the runway version. Kylie looks sort of stumpy & plain in hers which is crazy because she has an amazing body

I agree–very drab color choice. This would be great in a more vibrant color.
I agree with admmgz and Marybeth. She looks frumpy, she looks short, she looks wide. The colour does not work for summer, certainly does not work for Cannes. The fabric looks so heavy, the black panel looks weird, the shoulders too. Sad.

as a kylie fan though i never thought i would see the day kylie is at cannes for an actual movie she is in.
Its’ disturbing to see Kylie hiding her cleavage with an out-of-place dark panel like a shy 14-year-old when you see how revealing her other looks can be !

This looks too Givenchy for me. I also find it frumpy and unflattering. Altogether ugly. For someone who wears Emilio Pucci religiously, she should’ve chosen a piece that truly works for her.

Don’t like on the runway, don’t like on the RC. On the runway, it’s too risque. At the photocall, it’s drab and unflattering. I think it ages her. Such a boring look–with boring shoes.
