The other person doing injustice to a great look on the white carpet at the MGM Grand Garden at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards held on Sunday night in Las Vegas, Nevada, was Nelly Furtardo.
The singer wore an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2012 dress.
Her white crocheted beaded dress was let down by some catastrophic styling.
Firstly, a black bra peeping over her white dress? Really?
The white beaded statement necklace competes with the dress, the dress makes her look boxy and the nude Brian Atwood shoes only get a pass because at this point I feel sorry for her because her stylist and her mirror let her down.
Her hair and makeup are beautiful, but those comical earrings would’ve served her better on an edgy ensemble.
It just wasn’t Nelly’s night.

How did she came to the idea to wear these ridiculous earrings? They have nothing to do with the rest of her look.
My second worst dressed of the night.
Everything about this look is a fail. What was she thinking?
HOT… MESS! shame because the dress is beautiful it deserves better than this tragedy.

The necklace compete with the dress, and those earrings are indeed comical.
But the biggest sin from this look is her peak-a-boo bra.

She and Miley are worst-dressed for me. What possessed her to style the dress this way? Is it opposites day? lol
Too. Much. Remove one accessory before leaving the house, Nelly. And perhaps change your clothes as well, in this case.
And somebody (supposed to be a stylist) got paid for this incredibly ugly outfit? If somebody told me “create a very ugly outfit” I couldn’t do something so awful.
Why does Nelly have Crow’s feet around her eyes already? I’m sure she’s still in her 30′s. She should get some wrinkle cream at least. I’ve seen vegetarian women with smooth radiant skin at 60 ad 70 years young. Oh well!
The second I saw that black bra underneath the white dress, my reaction was “Oh dear…” because I immediately thought of what would be your reaction, FC! I just can’t think of a reason why she would think a black bra would look good with this look. I also agree about the fit of the dress being unflattering on her, but I don’t mind the earrings. They are quirky, but they are far from being the worst part on this outfit.
