Marion Cotillard attended the premiere of her latest movie, ‘De Rouille et D’Os’ during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival this evening.
The French actress was not going to be upstaged by the L’Oreal girls as she donned a beautiful “go big or go home” Christian Dior Couture ball gown.
Her simple strapless sweetheart neckline gown has a black bodice and navy tulle skirt. It’s such a shame none of the photographers captured it properly.
A metal waistband nipped in her waist as Marion only added subtle Chopard jewels, including a hair accessory for her voluminous bun.

I feel the same way!!! I cannot nitpick one single flaw about this look. So often, strapless gowns sit too low but Marion’s is perfectly fitted. She looks AMAZING. Love it!

I’m not sure because it does feel like Raf and I do not recognise it so it could be his but think its a bit premature for Dior to present any thing before his July debut. I think its probably a Bill G that didn’t make it on to the runway.

Fit never matters more than with a strapless bodice, and the fit on that strapless bodice is superb. Full marks, and everyone else who is going to wear a strapless bodice on the red carpet, please take note!

I love this dress on her – navy blue is so elegant and the fit is divine, the bodice is perfect and shows off her figure beautifully. LOVE the hair, buns are so in now, my only teensy gripe is I would have liked at least some earrings, it looks like she forgot to put them on.
Pure elegance and beauty. Marion has said that where she’s from is the equivalent of Bronx in New York. But look at her, and then look at Jennifer Lopez from Bronx. Marion shows us that you can rise way, way above your circumstances, if you have talent. Love the minimal accessories. Love that the belt. She also proves that you don’t need bleach blonde or an orange tan to look pretty.
