Jane Fonda also attended the ‘De Rouille et D’Os’ premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival this evening.
She wore a Stella McCartney dress from the designers Evening 2012 collection.
The black-and-white long sleeve dress was styled with a beautiful Roger Vivier green embellished clutch which complemented her Chopard emerald drop earrings.
Whilst this is a nice enough look, I preferred the drama of the Atelier Versace from yesterday.

love it.
bit of a let down coming from Jane. But she’s maintained herself so well. I can see why she’s one of the chosen few L’Oreal gals. can’t believe she’s all of 74!
While I loved the drama of the Atelier Versace, her hairstyle works so much better with the modern feel of this look. What a Fantastic figure (!), great fit, not a fan of matching the clutch to the earrings, feels a bit forced, just the emerald earrings (and the ring ?? can’t really see)would’ve been a sufficient subtle touch of colour, and a black with a gold embellished detail clutch would’ve worked just fine.
I like the easy sophistication.
A change of pace is good sometimes, so I like this in contrast to yesterday’s gown. It still makes her body look great. I do like it.

I really am so over this dress
I agree. Whilst this look is figure-hugging for that sexy look Jane loves (her 74 bod is more smokin’ than my 20 year old one
) I prefer she go for Sexy Chic looks rather than good olde Chic.
She tried to combine Sexy and Chic, but it didn’t come off as Jane Fonda Sexy Chic.
She looks best in Emilio Pucci and Atelier Versace. I would love to see her in custom Roberto Cavalli gowns and a sexy sparkling gown from the Elie Saab Spring 2012 collection.
Once again, she looks gorgeous! I think I actually prefer this to the Atelier Versace look.
I side with Leeann – over this look. For me, Kate was the only one who rocked it the best (and even then, she wore a little too often).
But this also gives me deja vu with Jane from last year. Her opening night was something different seen on her, but she is going back to this.
OMG… that outfit makes her look like a penguin.
The hem pooling at her feet bothers me. It’s a sleek, elegant look. After yesterday, I feel like she has owned the body-con gown and should go for a ballgown.
I dont know, the wrinkles in the dress are bothering me. I do love the shoes
Oveall, Jane Fonda is fabulous, of course.
The Unbelievable Fonda!
Love the pops of emerald and I like the versitility she is showing. She is fantastic
