Freida Pinto was the only other star who changed into a second look for the Cannes Film Festival opening night dinner on Wednesday evening following the ceremony.
The beautiful Indian actress wore a striking black sequin Versace gown with a thigh-high split, a sheer neckline and long sleeves.
I am getting a very big ‘Black Swan’ vibe from this gown, which Freida pulls off well.
The only downside to this look is the black pumps, which feel a bit too heavy for the look.
I do however lover the pop of pink via her lip colour.
Between Freida, Eva Longoria, Nicole Scherzinger, Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart, we’ve seen a number of interesting detailed black gowns on the red carpet this week.

I would have loved the gown on Freida if she got rid of those horrid mesh sleeves. If it was a sleeveless plunging black sparkly gown it would’ve been amazing. Hate the shoes also. But other than the mesh and the shoes, she looks great.

Of all the sparkly black dresses, I think this may be my favorite. Frieda looks better than I’ve seen her in a long time. Along with most of you, I’m no fan of the shoes, but I’m all alone out here disliking the lip color. It’s just too teeny-bopper for me.
