Charlize Theron joined Kristen Stewart at the ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ Madrid photocall in Spain, held at the Casa de America earlier today.
The actress wore a Giambattista Valli Fall 2012 dress with nude Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps.
Her dress is beautiful and expertly tailored and I adore that vibrant red colour but the dress gives her quarterback shoulders.
Unfortunately, I’m struggling to get past that.
A simple side-parted ponytail completed her look.

Quarterback shoulders was the only thing I noticed too. It’s a shame that it looks like that because the color is gorgeous on her and so is her hair and make-up.
As soon as I saw the picture, I thought she looked like a line backer. That is all you can see! The color is divine, but those shoulders are overwhelming.

I thought the same thing. In the second photo she looks better but in the first one her shoulders are the only thing I see…

When you are broad liek Charlize you should not wear a dress with shoulder enhancements & tight around the arms, it’s ok when she is with the rest of hte cast and her hand is on her hip but it looks awful when her arms are down.
I agree. “Quarterback shoulders” is an accurate description but the rest is just perfection.
This is a miss for me. I absolutely agree with the quarterback shoulders, as my first thought was that she looked like she was wearing football pads.
Also, the fit around the middle doesn’t look quite right. And knowing what a fabulous shoe collection she has, the nude pumps seem extremely boring.
She looks better in the second photo. Maybe is the way she’s posing in the first one?
That awkward moment when Kristen Stewart looks better than Charlize Theron. Everything is off here. The awful quarterback shoulders, the messy fit around the waist, the fugly beigy nude pumps. The minimalist styling is not helping much either. The only thing I truly like is her pink lip color.

Charlize already has broad shoulders so this dress doesn’t really suit her. Not a good look.
The dress seems like one size too small for her. the shoulder drape as seen on the runway stretches out on her… its shame coz according to me the colour looks amazing on her.

unusual for Charlize as she is normally faultless.is the dress not a size too small? it looks too tight.. she does have broad shoulders but i think a size up wouldnt pull in those areas?
Charlize is wearing it a size too small and the pleats in the shoulder can’t fall correctly. Shame, it’s a nice dress – but Kristen Stewart has really been impressing me this promo run! Nice to see her fresh & upbeat.

With a dress like this, it’s all about the posing because it looks weird in the first photo but in the season photo and others it looks great.
She so rarely makes a mistake like this that I think I’ll just ignore this and wait for the next one.

I thought, “linebacker” as soon as I saw it. It’s a shame. Some people can pull off the bold shouldered look, and some can’t. I don’t think it suits Charlize’s figure.
