Eva Longoria made her second Cannes Film Festival appearance of the day at the opening night dinner, which took place on Wednesday evening.
Following her breathtaking Marchesa gown at the opening ceremony, Eva wore an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2012 gown.
With a body-conscious nude slip, tulle overlay and lace piping, this is a much more gothic look to the tons of tulle gown we saw earlier in the day.
I’m glad to see Eva is keeping us on our toes, and not just sticking to one look.
A sleek updo, black pumps and white clutch complete the look.
What can I say? Cannes agrees with her.

One of the best pairs of recent times Eva and Cannes.

She looks 10 feet tall in this gown. Love it on her, Cannes does seem to do wonders for her.
Prefer this to her earlier gown. This one gives her a waist and she looks taller. Plus this one is far less deja vu.

I love this – Eva looks interesting to me here, usually I skip over her and her Marchesa from earlier made me cringe, just way too too much…..but this, it rates a very big yes!

Rose gold sandals and pink crystal earring would’ve been amazing. I don’t like the pumps, but other than that she looks great. I like how the gown is better on her than the runway.

I love this look. It’s gothic yet glam, striking the right balance of edginess and classic chic. My only caveat is the white clutch. It’s a bit of an eyesore.

What happens to her when she’s in Cannes? She becomes such a refined woman, does she hire another stylist when she’s in Europe?

I would love it if the nude slip was closer to her complexion and if the clutch wasn’t white, but gold.
I so agree with you about the nude slip being somebody else’s nude. Nude underlayments are always too white and make the black look grey. Other than that, I love the gown and the way it looks on Eva.
Oh I much prefer this look from her Marchesa look. I think is proof that you need to dress for your height. I love the dress and very much like the different feel/vibe of this look. Cannes does wonder for Eva and am glad she is venturing away from her usual style.
