Bérénice Béjo In Louis Vuitton – 2012 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Bérénice Béjo officially opened the 2012 Cannes Film Festival at a ceremony held inside the Palais des Festivals this evening.

The Master of Ceremony was radiant wearing a Louis Vuitton red gown.

Her silk mousseline multi-layered gown with a pleated front and a large red bow at the back of the gown has a cascading ombre train.

Flawless makeup, sparkling Chopard jewels and dark tumbling side swept waves completed her look.

This is more like it from Bérénice. Where was this during awards season?

This and Eva Longoria are the looks to beat so far. This just took the top of my best dressed list.

She looks sensational, definitely was missing this gown on the Oscars red carpet.

  4. Janelle May 16, 2012 at 20:45 #

She looks classy, like old Hollywood glamour girls.

She oozes glamour from her every pore. I hope this is the beginning of many more wow moments to come from Berenice.

I’m not really blown away by this look. Something is missing…

I like the gown however, I think it the belt makes her waist look wide.

Beautiful – that color is so striking on her. Seriously, where was this during the Oscar’s???

  10. Vidhya May 16, 2012 at 21:18 #

I don’t like the sleeves.. They needed to be a little more up or down. But its a killer look, alright!

I want to love it but it doesn’t do anything for her figure. It’s making her look boxy.

While it’s a very nice, very well done look, I agree that it’s not really doing anything for her figure, she looks too thick-waisted.

impeccable styling. the brooch, the hairstyle, the makeup, the dress. everything works well for her.

Louis Vuitton pieces are either a hit or miss, and this is a huge hit. Stunning. Perfection. I would like to see more of her in a designer that isn’t Elie Saab because Elie Saab has become so Red Carpet Regular and Red Carpet Safe.

she looks great! this dress kind of reminds me of Michelle Williams Oscar dress… both Louis Vuitton too.

Now this is more like it!! Where was this during awards season is right.

She went back to her natural brunette colour and it makes a world of difference.

This is much more like it from Berenice – that new red carpet line from Louis Vuitton is turning out to be a real success – I’m not sure of the thinking behind it but I guess it is to have more award presence for LV (same as the Gucci Premiere line) – sometimes I wonder if that wasn’t Marc Jacobs consolation prize for not getting the Dior job et being able to do a couture line – as such he is doing a fine job – there may be too much volume at the back giving this a red curtain feel but I’m not really bothered by it – hair works perfectly too – FC do you have any more info on this new custom made red carpet line?

I haven’t seen any details published about it.

      Maybe they will during Cannes.

I always welcome a red stunner of a dress and this is certainly it – so much better than her appearance at the Oscars.

I feel like I’ve died and gone to heaven! Classy, elegant, jaw-droppingly gorgeous–OH MY GOSH I love it! BDOTD with Fan Bing Bing and Diane Kruger :)
The red is fabulous, the silhouette is amazing and I love the sleeves (I’m so sick of strapless) and Berenice looks SO good. I’m wondering too, where was this look at the Oscars?

  21. roxana May 17, 2012 at 07:15 #

    so gorgeous!

  22. Jess2 May 17, 2012 at 12:12 #

I didn’t really like Berenice’s looks during awards season but I definitely like this. The colour is stunning on her and the dress is very beautiful.

  23. Alina May 17, 2012 at 16:37 #
