Zooey Deschanel attended the Fox 2012 Programming Presentation Post-Show Party held in New York City yesterday evening.
The ‘New Girl’ actress chose a rather peculiar look, wearing a Carven Spring 2012 ensemble.
Dressed in a white button-down shirt with a large chest cut-out tucked into a plain black skirt, I cannot help but imagine Zooey as a waitress with a very bizarre dress code.
We all know that tights are Zooey’s signature look, but it is May – time to let your legs breathe.
Quirky can be done well on the red carpet – Zooey herself has done it before – but this is an example of eccentric gone horribly wrong especially since she wore the wrong style of bra with this dress.
Black pumps and a thin black belt accessorize the look.

I feel sorry for her. This is really bad.
Really, what was she thinking when she chose that bra?
Honestly, I haven’t seen one single outstanding look from Zooey ever since she divorced Ben Gibbard. And that one is no exception.
Here is what is wrong with this look: makeup, bra, tights and shoes. Which is pretty much everything.
Zooey has the same stylist as Olivia Wilde and Paula Patton. Karla Welch is her name. Time to blacklist that stylist.

Bad look. And I’ll never understand her insistence on wearing tights when it’s warm out.
I saw her in concert a couple of years ago. It was outside in July, extremely hot, nearly 100% humidity, and she still had the damn tights on. I doubt she’ll ever give them up.
She looks kinda cheap and trashy, a naughty babe playing dress-up.

I usualy like her retro style, but this is rather plain. And her bra choice was definitively a mistake.

I don’t mind the tights here but the visible bra, messy hair, and shoddy makeup make for an unpleasant look.
Wow, this look is bad. Had you given the dress to Emma Watson, Emma Stone, or even Leighton Meester, the outfit would have been pretty cute. Here, it just looks like she is playing dress up for Halloween.
