A number of celebrities headed to the gardens of Versailles on Monday for the Chanel Cruise 2013 presentation.
Tilda Swinton: The actress looked perfectly put together, wearing a crisp white button-down shirt and wide-legged pants, worn under a beautiful Chanel tweed overcoat. It’s hard to imagine Tilda in a frothy Chanel dress, a la Rachel Bilson, and this aesthetic fits her perfectly.
Vanessa Paradis: Wearing a multi-coloured Resort 2012 dress, the French actress looks absolutely gorgeous. I love how despite the asymmetrical strap, glitter and abstract print, this still looks very elegant and ladylike.
Ines de La Fressange: The French model looked very chic in an all-white ensemble from the Resort 2012 collection. As an ambassador for Roger Vivier accessories, Ines livened up her neutral dress with add-ons from the brand, including a silver clutch, sunnies and bright orange flats.
Alice Dellal: As the face of the Chanel Boy handbag, Alice was in attendance wearing a Chanel Spring 2012 Couture dress. Her embellished pink tea-length dress with pink ribbon embroidery works surprisingly well with her signature half-shaven head and messy eyeliner. This is the perfect ‘good meets bad’, ‘classic Chanel meets no bra’ kinda look. Teal python platforms accessorized the look.

I love Tilda’s style. She always looks elegant, event appropriate and interesting.
Vanessa Paradis does look very ladylike in this dress. I don’t know how she manage that.

I adore Tilda, seh never disappoints, I love that she can make Chanel work for her. I think that Vanessa’s dress is incredibly unfattering on her, and the shoe don’t help, Ines looks nice, but I wish the accessories complemented each other better, adn I honestly have no words for how much I think that Alice si not suited to chanel.
Tilda looks fab and statuesque. I love how she made a Chanel look fit her personal style so well. Vanessa looks great–she’s my favorite. Ines’ look is a bit untailored, and Alice looks RIDICULOUS.

Tilda is the best here, LOVE it! Don’t care for the other 3. Ines’s flats are killing me, they make her feet look comically long, Alice’s hair and makeup don’t fit with the aesthetics of her outfit.

Love Tilda’s Coat, everyone else looks meh to me, and that look is way to feminine for her. She’s suited more to edgier styling.
