2012 Women Of Style Awards

The 2012 Women Of Style Awards hosted by InStyle Australia was held at the Carriage Works earlier today in Sydney, Australia.

Miranda Kerr: The ‘Readers’ Choice’ winner stole everyone’s thunder by looking sensational wearing a Carla Zampatti gown. The pale-blue gown cut low at the back and front was styled with gold sandals and spectacular gold jewels. A red pout and simple ponytail completed her look. The day Miranda or Rosie look bad is the day the world is coming to an end.

Kate Ritchie: The former ‘Home and Away’ actress stunned once again wearing a Steven Khalil dress. The designer took a simple strapless dress and turned it on its head by adding dramatic pleats on the bodice, a half peplum and a gold metal waistband. A gold clutch and nude pumps completed her look. The only downside is her foundation which is too light for her complexion.

Lara Bingle: Sporting the same 50s French roll hairstyle Charlize Theron wore to her premiere last night, Lara wore a Romance Was Born printed polka-dot dress. Whilst Lara has great fashion connections, she never really takes ownership of what she’s wearing. She’s like a mannequin.

Erika Heynatz: The TV presenter/model wore a Ferragamo Spring 2012 colour-block red-and-raspberry look which consisted of a plunging blouse with a wrap skirt. I’m not crazy about the bow-front peep-toes, but I do love her complementary woven Ferragamo clutch. The look would’ve been perfect for me had she worn Solange Knowles two-tone Ferragamo sandals.

“The day Miranda or Rosie look bad is the day the world is coming to an end.” LOL :D

I remember seeing both ladies looking terrible so no, I don’t agree with the above statement.

Miranda looks like a Greek goddess.

Miranda’s dress reminds me of Dita Von Tesse’s Tadashi Soji dress.

Miranda is clearly the best dressed, but I love Kate Richie’s style. But her nude pumps aren’t doing it for me. She should’ve worn gold strappy sandals.

I am getting the sense that Lara Bingle is like a Kardashian meets Camilla Belle of Australia as she shows up at all these events and doesn’t do much.

Erika’s shoes don’t work at all, other than that she is perfect.

Miranda’s shoes are the Jimmy choo ‘lance’ sandas, which Chleo Moretz loves so much, and her earrings are Bulgari, I do believe.

“The day Miranda or Rosie look bad is the day the world is coming to an end.” Truth. I wonder if they have some kind of a beauty elixir.

Miranda looks impeccable -again- and is clearly the best dressed here.

I don’t like plunging necklines so Miranda’s look doesn’t work for me (that said, it’s certainly not a miss!)
Kate is my favorite, as I think her look is interesting and chic.
Lara’s dress is too busy and she does look like a mannequin.
Erika’s look is loud and unflattering.

Sigh, Lara Bingle always manages to look like a bit of a joke no matter where she goes…

Lara’s dress isn’t Josh Goot, it’s from Romance Was Born’s recent collection.

I’d actually dare to say that Miranda is a contender of BDOTW. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her outfit and she looks fabulous.

    Style awards?

Lara Bingle looks really boxy in her Romance Was Born dress. Her styling was all wrong for the dress. And she really needs a skinny black belt for some shape.

“The day Miranda or Rosie look bad is the day the world is coming to an end” – You are so right!! Miranda is just perfect, I have a slight obsession with her hehe.
Kate also looks fantastic, I love that dress!
    Lara looks ridiculous
