On Friday, Alesha Dixon attended the pre-final party for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ at the Banqueting House in London.
The judge wore a Julien Macdonald Spring 2012 silver sleeveless gown.
Her bead-and-sequin leaf appliqué gown, with pleated panels, a sheer tulle insert plus a folded peplum and split skirt, is beautiful on the runway, but it seemed to overwhelm Alesha.
The windy conditions didn’t help, as you could see her trying to catch her skirt in many pictures on the red carpet.
I prefer the runway belt. Alesha’s white belt sits too high, giving the gown an empire silhouette – and that orange lip colour doesn’t work for me either.
This could’ve been amazing, but a few small issues bring it down for me.

Hmmm not sure this dress does anything for her!! Think it’s a bit too much!
The gown looks much better on the runway, especially the upper part with the sheer tulle. I also think that she should’ve shortened it to get rid of catching the skirt every time. I don’t like the shoes either.
First of all, i don’t like the hair, and make up, and the white belt, and the dress.
BAD.
Everything you said, FC, plus the fabric of Alesha’s gown looks tacky.
This doesn’t quite work on her.
Nothing works here. She is in her element in street style.
The hair, lips, shoes don’t work for me.
Fug makeup. Dress is not doing her any favors here!
She looks stunning! Loving her latest looks
I loved this look on the runway but you’re right, it overwhelms Alesha. Did they change the material, too? I’m not really into the satin. The proportions are a little off, too.
Don’t love this. It feels overwrought, the fabric looks cheap, and she does not wear it well.
