Natalie Portman In Christian Dior – New York City Ballet’s 2012 Spring Gala

Natalie Portman was joined on the red carpet by her partner Benjamin Millepied as they attended New York City Ballet’s 2012 Spring Gala at David H. Koch Theater, Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday evening.

The actress looked beautiful wearing a Christian Dior navy silk chiffon gown with a tiered skirt and a black ribbon detail around the neckline and waistline.

She accessorized with Dior Fine Jewelry earrings and a black Dior clutch.

A wavy updo and a shimmering pink lip colour completed her Spring Gala look.

I love everything about this look! The pretty chiffon dress in a very subtle shade of navy, a lovely updo coiffure, small jewelry and a 100 megawatts smile!A killing look!

    N. Portman is so pretty that she’d make a potato sack look great.
I love this dress, its so elegant :)

Am I the only one who hates the dress? It’s meh and unflattering. It is ugly.

on others it will definitely look hideous but this is natalie portman we are talking about.

    LOOOVE! Her eyes are stunning.

    • GiGi May 11, 2012 at 14:15 #

Yes – she is so lovely – almost delicate looking – and those eyes are phenomenal. BDOTW for me too

I am in the minority, but I don’t like this look. Its boring – we have seen this kind of dress many times before. The accessories are uninspiring as well. She has a beautiful face, she will look good in anything – but don’t like this dress. Also her hair looks messy.

    Wow that face!

For me, a BDOTW nominee. Absolutely stunning.

+1. A million times better than her looks during the awards season.

Not bad but she could’ve brightened it up a bit with a pretty silver minaudiere instead of the black clutch, the look is a bit overwhelmingly dark.

It’s the close-up. I was about to say her hair look a bit flyaway and, although I love the dress, Nat39′s bit of sparkle idea wouldn’t come amiss. Then I looked at the 3/4 profile into topaz eyes. Suddenly, she looked perfect.

She looks stunning. She’s beautiful and refined. I love this look from head to toe, hair and make up are so beautiful. BDOTW, for me.

She’s always such a vision of elegance. I love this look. The tiered skirt might seem fussy on some but she carries it off with aplomb.

Long time no see! So elegant, beautiful and intellectual. A person’s eyes can tell so much. I love her hair here. This look is def. BDOTW worthy.
