In my opinion, Malin Akerman upstaged Rihanna and Brooklyn Decker on the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live last night for the ‘Battleship’ LA premiere.
Whilst the main stars were looking blahtastic, Malin was wowing the crowds wearing a Cushnie et Ochs Pre-Fall 2012 dress.
It’s impossible to not look stunning in a Cushnie et Ochs dress, especially this stunning lace and black silk dress, but she also put an effort into her styling.
I love her tumbling waves and her flawless makeup.
She accessorized with a black clutch and tri-colour Chrissie Morris ankle-strap peep-toes.

Gorgeous!
Yes, she upstaged the real star here.
But, while she look stunning, i want to see her hair up.
She looks gorgeous. It is a very sophisticated and classy look. If this would be a regular week (No MET gala), this would have been a worthy BDOTW.
The dress, hair and makeup are great but the shoes are random and ugly.
+1. They look heavy and a hair casual. The dress is divine.
The shoes do feel random and out of place. Delicate silver/gold sandals would’ve worked just fine.
Her hair is pretty but would’ve preferred it pulled back.
A gorgeous dress finished off with perfect shoes – you would think this would be an easy thing to do, but it happens way too rarely – love this muchly.
She looks so stunning that I can overlook the wrinkles on her dress. Definitely agree that this is a BDOTW worthy look if it wasn’t Met Gala week.
she looks lovely, but those roots are ugh.
She looks amazing and I LOVE those shoes.
She looks good.
she looks great
want.
from the ankles up its gorgeous but those shoes are hideous.
Love the dress on her.
I like the shoes, but NOT with this dress, which is interesting enough on its own. I find the shoes an annoying distraction.
(But she still looks pretty sharp!)
I love Malin and the shoes alone, but brown shoes with black? Doesn’t work for me. Everything else is fine.
Nothing about this dress works for me. The shoes are ugly, and the dress is odd–it’s almost like two dresses sewn together.
