Lady Gaga In Alpana & Neeraj – Ritz Hotel Hong Kong

On Tuesday, Lady Gaga was spotted leaving the Ritz Hotel in Hong Kong wearing yet another fashion-forward look.

The singer wore an Alpana & Neeraj Fall 2012 dress.

Her white sculptural dress with an embellished shoulder detail and a peplum waist by the Indian designers was styled with a white Perspex headpiece by Little Shilpa.

Gaga’s elaborate, yet not shocking, look was completed with white leather gloves, a white python clutch and cream platform heels.

Yet again, this look gets a thumbs up from me. It’s the elegance with couture detailing sans her crazy over-the-topness that makes me fall in love with the look.

she absolutely ruined it with those shoes.

She kills all of her otherwise beautiful looks with some kind of hideous platform.

I agree, those are some of the ugliest shoes I have ever seen.

I agree! We get it already, you can walk in crazy heels. They just end up ruining the look half the time. I like the rest of the look and love the model’s shoes.

I’d potentially even consider this for BDOTW if it weren’t for the shoes. They single-handedly kill the whole look.

I love this, the addition of the headpiece really makes it come together, very Gaga, but not so very over the top that it annoys. She has found a good balance recently.

The dress is gorgeous and stunning. Alpana & Neeraj are very talented designers. I always hate how she accessorizes, so I am just focusing on the dress.

i looooooove me some Gaga! and you said it perfectly — when she’s at her best, it’s because she’s taken something truly unique and couture, and walked it as close to the “over-the-top” line as possible, without going into costume territory.

though i love her in costume territory as well, admittedly. haha.

I just wish she would ditch those platform shoes, they are drawing the attention away from that beautiful dress!

BDOTW, structurally beautiful and over top- very gaga

Don’t love the flipped hem on the dress, I know it’s supposed to be “edgy” but it doesn’t work for me. Other than the dress would be cool. However, she makes me loathe everything she wears.

I’m enjoying how she walks the fine line while it lasts. I like (ignoring the hooves).

It’s great to see Indian designers like Little Shilpa, Alpana & Neeraj, Manish Arora, Shane and Falguni Peacock, etc. making ways across the oceans! The whole outfit is SO GAGA!
