I would like to pretend that I’m not shocked by this look as we’ve seen Marc Jacobs wear dresses before, but a lace sheer Comme des Garçons Spring 2012 dress with white boxers is a jaw-dropper.

This is silly and ridiculous. Even though he is a fashion designer, he shouldn’t be able to get away with this.
Perhaps i’m shallow or a prude but this is just stupid. I don’t see fashion and I don’t think it’s sexy. It’s tacky and I would feel that way even if it was on a woman.
I agree. He said that he wore this because hes sick of suits, but couldnt he have just worn the runway version? It still would’ve been different and daring but at least it would have some amount of fashion to it.
Is this the man who is supposed to be one of the best fashion designers? Was he thinking he was going to a gay pride? Terrible, but bad tasted.

it’s sad because he’s one of the few men in this world who can pull off commes des garcons runway looks if he only styled them better.

I’ve always admired designers who have not adopted outlandish “celebrity” personas like Phoebe Philo, Sarah Burton, Raf Simons, etc. Marc, we get it, you are no longer the geeky guy from a decade ago but geez, give it a rest.
