Cameron Diaz joined Elizabeth Banks on the red carpet last night for the New York premiere of their latest movie, ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’.
As you know I have tried to be understanding when it comes to Cameron’s ‘grown up’ approach to red carpet dressing.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get behind this ensemble.
It looks so ordinary. If I wanted to see ordinary I would look in the mirror.
This Stella McCartney white shirt with black pants and beige Lanvin pumps is great for a photocall, but so dull for a premiere.
A Kimberly McDonald ring and gold Pomellato necklace completed her look.

you are spot on. With a better fitting pant and a killer shoe she could have taken the everyday and made it special.
Awfully dull indeed. The style of the pants paired with the beige pumps along with the drab hair, bland makeup and her manly stance are killing me.
This is such a BLAH outfit!!!!!!!!!!! And unflattering. She has lost her touch.

there is a way to make black and white special. This isnt it. Did she really feel dressed up after she put on this? I am sure her hair and makeup team would be so disappointed. To go through all this and then the person throws on this boring outfit? Why bother?
I agree this is dull–she looked better in black-and-white shirt and pants on Jimmy Fallon–but I do appreciate the trend of dressing down for the premiere. I think many stars over-dress for these events.
At least the sparkle is back in her eyes…not much else to say about this look.

i was about to say the same thing, FC you don’t look ordinary on red carpets, you look stunning (for example, the art of the elysium gala)!
as for cameron, she looks like some intern on the set of a tv show, and these shoes are horrifying :S

This is an embarrassment for Rachel Zoe. Even if Cameron didn’t work with her for some reason, someone should have said “NO WAY” to Cameron. This is the WORST look of her Red Carpet Career.
