Solange Knowles In Rachel Roy – 2012 Met Gala

Solange Knowles joined her big sister Beyonce on the red carpet at the 2012 Met Gala, held in New York City on Monday night.

Typically one for the dramatics, Solange kept her look relatively simple in a gorgeous canary-yellow Rachel Roy dress with peplum detailing.

Walking the red carpet alongside the designer, Solange accessorized the strapless gown with a silver-and-gold Edie Parker ‘Flavia’ clutch, Jennifer Fisher jewels, Sergio Rossi heels and her signature fro.

I love this look on Solange. It may be simple, but she still completely stands out in a non-attention-grabbing way, putting her older sister in her shade.

Flawless.
