Lea Michele attended the 2012 Met Gala in New York City on Monday night.
The ‘Glee’ actress put the best diva foot forward wearing a navy blue Diane von Furstenberg sequined gown with a fringed necklace.
Never one to shy away from showing some skin on the red carpet, Lea flashed a little leg with a thigh-high slit, as well as a revealing neckline.
A Diane von Furstenberg ‘Tonda Stingray’ clutch, Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz earrings accessorize look.
This is a great look for Lea. I think her try hard days on the red carpet might be finally behind her. I have to give her credit for at least having enough restraint to not pull a full-on ‘Angelina’ on the red carpet with that slit.

She looks good, but I’m much more interested in Donatella and Chloe Sevigny in the background. I don’t usually like Chloe’s style at all, but I think this actually looks pretty good on her minus that chunky heel on the shoe.
When Lea Michele shows restraint like this, she is delightful and usually BDOTW worthy. This look is perfec on her.

I agree, a dab of restraint makes this look completely shine. She’s still a diva but not desperate looking, which is all she needs to succeed here. This will be in my top 5.

I have to give her some serious credit for not pulling out the over-the-top pouting and posing. Lord knows with this dress she really could have outdone herself, but she looks very nice in these pictures.
No sexy pouty face, You can tell one of her legs was just dying to reveal itself but it didn’t happen, she looks fantastic.
this is the best she’s looked IMO.
Better than most of her other overly-sexy looks, but it can still be improved. The hair is lacking in some respects, and necklace feel a tad unnecessary, at least to me.
On a side note, I quite like Donatella’s look in the back!
I like it but i didn’t kill me. I much prefered that blue Roberto Cavalli she pulled of some years ago. Otherwise she looks great and she reminds me a little bit to Elizabeth Momsen, don’t know why, maybe the hair.

I love sequined dresses, and navy blue is such a great color, so I like this a lot, but I’m not sure about the necklace, I would prefer something more simple. I must say that she looks very good but older than her real age.
I never liked her persona, but i LOVE her here ! That dress is STUNNING ! And she look so sweet with the shorter do. No desperation here. Just a beautiful Lea.

Not sure about the necklace, apart from that everything else was spot on.
She looks the best ever. don’t be fooled by the ‘personna’ that is just the woman-hating Joan Rivers having a pop. She is sweet and talented and it is good to see her relaxed in a look that really suits her.
I am so impressed with Lea recently. I love her to pieces but she was going so try hard at the start of the year but she has taken in down a notch. None of the ott poses with silly pouts, just simple and classy. She is so beautiful, I love this look, a lot.
