Kristen Wiig In Stella McCartney – 2012 Met Gala

Kristen Wiig looked beautiful as she stepped onto the red carpet as the guest of Stella McCartney for the 2012 Met Gala in New York City on Monday evening.

The actress wore a look from Stella’s Evening 2012 collection.

Her orange lace embroidered pleated dress was teamed with Stella McCartney Fall 2012 grey faux croc pumps with bio soles.

Fred Leighton jewels, a beige clutch and glossy brunette waves completed her look.

Kristen just gets better and better for me. I love her style which has evolved considerably since 2009.

    I’d say after Bridesmaids ;)

Oooh, disappointed that she didn’t wear the runway version with the belt–even in a shorter version. she does look beautiful, but I HATE the shoes.

“Kristen just gets better and better for me.” ITA.

But on this occasion I can’t say the same about her shoes. I like the look from the ankles up.

She looks beautiful but I much prefer the runway version.

The dress is so much better on Kristen. I love how she made it very 1950’s whereas on the runway it looks like tons of other Stella dresses.

She has such a great sense of style now that she has a stylist.

She looks great, as I’m a big fan of the 50’s silhouette, but the runway version is more beautiful.

This is one of her best looks! I love her in this orange color it makes her complexion look so warm and lovely.

This is one of the first dresses from Stella McCartney that I genuinely like! Glad that she caught on to he orange/tangerine trend. It looks lovely on her.

I love it. It’s McCartney, and I love it. I see Wiig couldn’t completely ditch her love of nude with that clutch, and I could do without the shoes but still, I love it.

    The runway version is better.

This is great, but I think she would have looked stunning in the original version.

Cute dress, but it seems a bit young for her AND…it’s not really Met Gala appropriate. It feels like a premier look. Also, her shoe choice was MISGUIDED!

I agree with everything except for the shoes. I actually really like them.
